Gunning for revenge, outlaw Nat Love saddles up with his gang to take down enemy Rufus Buck, a ruthless crime boss who just got sprung from prison.
the movie was so visually satisfying and the soundtrack was great too!
Yes!!!!!!
Yes I agree ….
WHAT A MASTERPIECE. I could've watched an hour of behind the scenes. The story, the acting, the CINEMATOGRAPHY, the MUSIC. OMG the music timed to each perfect frame. *chef's kiss. Hoping for part 2!!
You spittin rn🗣🗣🗣
This movie was great and the ending really hit hard.
Facts!!
Awesome movie! For me the most outstanding actor is Idris Elba. He embodies his character so much that he can act solely with his eyes. You can tell Rufus' emotions like hope, despair, anger and compassion simply by observing Idris' eye movements. I think Jeymes knew this and that's why he took so many close up shots of Idris' eyes. After completing the movie, if you re-watch the scenes of Nat Love and Rufus, you can see a difference in the emotions conveyed through Idris' eyes before and after knowing the ending..for example, the scene where Mary is in a cell and Love hung by his arms...the first time you watch, Idris conveys contempt - the second time, understanding..that's why Idris is a true A-list actor...The whole cast was amazing and the soundtrack phenomenal..Kudos!
Perfect analysis of Idris’s acting and greatness. I saw it when he was in The Wire.
Agreed ! 👏🏾💃🏽🙌🏾
Indeed 🔥🔥🔥
This is now officially my favorite movie. It brings the real history of all the characters to light. Black and Native people been strong since the beginning of time and some in America don't want the truth to be told.
Yeah, some of this persons from the movie really existed but this wasn't their real story!!!
Whoever controlled the lighting of this film did an amazing job!
I've never watched any movie 25 times and still loving it. All the characters delivered big time, and the scene where Regina faught Zazie was so cool with that Fela track. I give much respect to the producers and director.
Delroy Lindo is a national treasure! ❤️
I always found it intriguing how the camera's, lights, etc get edited out of movies
But this movie was absolutely amazing, the first movie in a long time that had me glued to the screen
definitely one of my favorite movies! Although I was devastated when Jim Beckworth and Bill Pickett because they were one of my favorite duos, they were hilarious! The ending was still beautiful though.
The night shoots in town where amazing.
Lol I love me some Regina, but in this particular scene her Riley started showing 😭❤️❤️
Omg yesssss. I swear it did .😂😂😂
This movie is great, everything about it is exceptional 🖤🤠🐎
Part 2 is needed.
or a tv series. I want as much runtime as possible. As much music as possible. As many actors and scenes as possible. 2 hours isn't enough
Yes! Bc I don’t think she killed her.
@@francisdance5364 will have to be a different cast this group expensive
@@iffysd9864 haha it's all good, most of em died anyway. The rest definitely affordable
@@iffysd9864 there’s so many black cowboys they could introduce. I’m looking forward to Granville T. Woods getting some shine at some point.
I love this film. It's one of my favorites now!
The horse on the track was like: "
👀 ... okayyy"
One of the best movies done in a while.
1:19 Lmaooo that horse said "Sir..is that a train?"
The casting the music the overall of this movie I want more 💕👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
This was such an amazing movie. Great writing, great visuals, great action and awesome acting.
We need a part 2!!! I absolutely loved EVERYTHING about this movie!!!
Nooo i don’t think it’s necessary
With all due respect. Its perfect with just one movie. Remember Young Guns and YG 2 really made a mess.
Thanks for using tracks from Dennis Brown and Barrington Levy... #1 movie for me. Respect and well done. Big up Idris.
I appreciate the soundtrack in this film so much! 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
Me too and Koffee, reggae to the world
Trudy needs her own movie
Gotta rate this cowboy flick in the top 2 Westerns in my Book... Tombstone is the 2nd best .....

My goodness the ending just over the top.
The Dialogue and Music Just Great....
Thanks for The Quality, Effort and Professionalism from everyone involved.....
Black My Story.
Black My Story, I LOVE that song! 🙂 Perfect connection!
Deon Cole killed that fight scene. Wow
When Cuffee jumped out shot them both guys, saving Mary with two guns. That was epic!!! And when she shot the dude off the roof. Wheeeww.
I watched this movie so many times I lost count lol. An amazing cast, great story and bomb soundtrack. I read that the director wanted the viewers to hear the characters name and go research them and I did that for everyone. Lakeith is bae 🥰 I might have to watch it again tonight. 😂
Me too. And plan on watching it again tomorrow lol
Mr. Cole was outstanding! I loved seeing him in this light!
This was an Awesome movie!!! Great Cast!!! The soundtrack was amazing as well. The fight scenes 😍. I really enjoyed everything about it and every cast member!!! Well Done!!!
Now I wanna watch it again..
The color grade on this is awesome
I do not like Western type movies but this one I loved. I watched it twice everything about it was flawless.
I'm happy to get any behind-the-scenes featurettes about this movie, but I wish there was more footage of things like the wild camera setup at 05:38, big set pieces like Stagecoach Mary's place, etc. instead of dialogue scenes or things exploding (although it's awesome they used practical effects and not CGI).
Now give us back Jim and Pickett :)
10/10 movie!
Had so much fun making this film...
Loved the cinematography, the storyline & the music. Plus, it kept my attention from beginning to end #ADD😄
Great cast, dynamism, 🎵🎶🎶🔥🔥🤩🤩🤩
One of the best Netflix movie
That poor horse was like "b***ch, yall don't see that train???"
that was so nice i like how the way they did that
The direction of cinematography was very good!!!
I was wondering how they got that horse to stand still during that train scene
I love BTS. It gives so much insight.

The messages in this movie are so important to take in and use for our food as Black people. We need more of this message to reach our people.
That scene with Regina in front of the train was clean!
Amazing film, can't wait for part 2
I HAVE ONLY 7 WORDS TO SAY." I LOVE ME SOME HARDER THEY FALL..❤💙❤💙❤💙❤💙

5:39 I'd like to see behind the scenes of just that shot
Best movie of the year 2021, No 🧢🔥
Rip Beckwourth
Beautiful country. Thats Gods country,
Reginq King on the horse was beautiful picture
Awesome movie best I’ve watched in a longggg time
Some great attention to detail regarding the way a stetson is supposed to be placed after being removed from the head. But the railway carriage shootout was surreal with the long colt brass flying left right and centre - especially when none of the bad guys appeared to be carrying lever-action rifles - only single-action pistols which hold six in a chamber and need to be ejected one-by-one for a reload. It is also worth noting the close-up saloon face-off showed the pistols when pointed at an individual, had the firing pins removed. Perhaps the armourer on the Baldwin movie shoot should have taken note.
Great movie
Treacherous Trudy ❤
Loved the movie!

I hope this kicks off an explosion of black westerns. enough of BMF, Power, Power spinoffs, etc
Y
Absolutely unrealistic in history
Do your research- don’t rely on what the mainstream schools taught you. Lol. They taught you lies - that’s why you’re ignorant now.
Uhhh it says that in the beginning of the movie. Real people , fictitious story. Did you even watch it ?
Read a history book and it will show the real cowboys that were black, indians and hispánics, dumbass!!
I have never seen a western film where all the actors are blacks, that just never happens
jesus loves yall
The colorist!!!!!
Exactly!! They did a phenomenal job ✨
Obviously many of the raving reviews here are paid, must be. Anyone considering this the best film ever must be taking too many tablets.
Wilma stfu!! You don't have taste, so your opinion don't count.
What a weirdo! He’s wearing a mask and goggles? Give me a break!!
When did blacks have so much power that day and age ? At the peak of slavery days this movie just doesn’t make any sense. At least make movies that portray what was happening in that time frame. Make it a bit real Netflix. Some context is relevant regarding the time any movie is set in. Thanks.
I know you're trying to troll but those times weren't during slavery.
This is real history, camel dung
Why would I want to watch a "behind the scenes" of a movie that was so very DREADFUL that I could barely make it through the first 30 minutes of it...?
So move along!
@@smalldoses6380 move along this!
And yet you're here watching the Behind the Scenes, being a HATER of a movie you called "DREADFUL"🤔 Funny, I avoid things I don't like. Yet here you are like an OBSESSED little rhymes with WITCH 😂 We see you MEDIOCRE insecure "snow man". It's rough having penis envy 😂
@@lf1496 NO! I didn't watch it...sorry to disappoint you - LOL
It was so dreadful because you saw to many black lead actors right ...
Movie sucked
No it doesn't stop trolling.....
Watch a real western, this movie ain’t it.
Said the guy with a NOT real PINGA. We know why you're hating.✊🏿✊🏾🙆🏿♂️🤣
Why are you even here then? This is FUBU. Obssesion is real smh.
Great movie
