It was getting to a stage that by 1990 all the big Yard sounds had stopped using Djs and were getting their favoured artists on Dub plate. It was more cost effective for a start. Killamanjaro was at this stage the only clash sound left using Djs mainly due to the success of Stone love who were the "total dubz" blueprint. As Charlie mentioned about Jammys who we're now juggling too. Jaro were on a mission to seek and destroy juggling sounds. By 1994 even Trooper had succumbed and they entered their dub plate phase. but they never gave up their "rub a dub sound " status.
The main reason for the decline in live DJs at dance was that the DJs were getting a lot of overseas booking, so the sound owners couldn't guarantee their appearance at dances
