    really enjoyed this video, thank you for sharing, my Grandfather Bob Nash sailed as Skipper on the Hewett Trawlers. he always spoke fondly of the Ella,Robert and Samuel Hewett.

    I was a Brassie on the Marretta … one of J.Marr & Son’s Sidewinders … sailing out of Fleetwood back in the early 1970’s … did my pre-sea training course at Fleetwood Nautical College …. with the merchant navy toffs … I stayed at the Fisherman’s Mission on Dock Street while they stayed at the North Euston Hotel … the Mission has gone but the North Euston is still standing …. and the ferry to Knott End is still running … But Fleetwood is a ghost of its former self ..Shame it’s all gone … had some great times in Fleetwood ….
    We were 3 Day Millionaire’s back then ….

    We’re revenge my first ship and I soon moved Ella Hewlett and on to Marr Norina and Armani sailed with Victor Buschini Billy Taylor and Bill Reader great skippers ....happy days even though it was tough......nautical college fleetwood then of too sea....

    I sailed on London Town got bitten. To death by flees my mum went ballistic with the firm.....lol....
