@@CrissyUnfiltered Thanks for your reply. I would recommend you go to Chiang Rai, the northernmost part of the kingdom. My absolutely favourite place in Thailand. I always visit Chiang Rai, twice a year at least. Stay at Le Meridien Chiang Rai Resort, then hit the road to Chiang Saen district. You should find the hotels where they offer the riverfront view. The Mae Khong River is breathtakingly gorgeous. Detoxify your lung with pure fresh air and sooth your spirit with the nature's tranquility and beauty, and fill your tummy with fresh river fish, it is very delectable. Hope you have time for it. It may seem absurd to some that in Thailand most everybody wear masks outdoors. Thailand is getting through the pandemic in much better shape than Western countries thanks to people obeying covid rules even though they sometimes doubt the effectiveness and there are no police or officials enforcing the rules. It is the cultural difference between East and West.
