- This is Kirisame Marisa's and story mode mid-game stages theme.
name "Magical Beast Scramble" / "魔獣スクランブル"
from Touhou 19 "東方獣王園 〜 Unfinished Dream of All Living Ghost".
Marisa really likes to steal stuffs. She even steals her own laser.
Where the fuck are my lasers. I use it once or twice and it's gone.
And her boss spell is pretty hard? Bullets come from all the goddamn sides?
Is that why my lasers gone? To compensate for the hard boss fight?
I like this theme though. A lot. Especially the 0:33 and 1:42 bit.

This theme is really good, but honestly it's probably pretty low on my list of favorite Marisa themes. It definitely has Oriental Dark Flight beat, at least.

fun fact: he's always been using the ddc guitars! (from DDC onwards at least)
It was never really absent, given tracks like Jelly Stone, Unlocated Hell and Banditry Technology use the DDC guitars (can't think of specific examples in LoLK or substantial examples in HSiFS).
the intro sounds really good, i still don't understand how the spirits and beast spirits work, like what does freezing them do???
you activate them
when you defeat an activated ghost, you send an animal spirit to the other player, depending on how far you were from the ghost
their hp gets cut dramatically, and when you shoot them when activated it sends the spirit to the other side (+ a character-dependent EX attack)
freezing them, you can defeat them far easier than when you don't freeze them.
