I am not a native English speaker and while I don't usually have trouble understanding, the first five minutes of the podcast I heard that Paolo would be out for “forty-six” instead of “four to six” weeks. I almost had a heart attack.
Genuinely praying for a speedy and successful recovery for Paolo. I also am praying this doesnt mess with him (physically or mentally) in the long term. He is such a great player that i just want to see him succeed.
I knew something went wrong when I noticed him grimace. Not good for us. 😔 I hear six weeks, I'm hearing mid January at the earliest. Time to shine boys..✨
i was looking up previous similar injuries to get an idea of the recovery time and Marcus Smart had the same injury in 2019. the culprit? ALSO NIKOLA VUCEVIC.
Paulo deserves to take this break, especially since he’s injured after going bulldozer mode on all these teams averaging closer to 30 points a game he’s been carrying the magic. The rest of them have been contributing here and there it’s time for France to step it up and the rest of them to help him.
I think it will be best if Paolo sits out for at least two months to fully rehab. He was playing well prior to the injury. He will come back and get the magic back to the playoffs.
You say all hands...., but the second best player who just got his purse is Franz. So now I need to know if with him being the top option, will we keep winning, if so then us going 22-60 his rookie year was just a bit fluke ish
situation is magic but not tragic , last year at denver there was the most unexpected win of the season . When coach is forced to change , something unexpected positively can happen , chance is pretty high . Would like to see same attitude when not in emergency , instead of stubbornly insisting on inconsistent players , like KCP , who last game made one more board and assists than me .
Those slow starts to games have looked like tired legs that should be fresh, and somehow this deep team has been shorthanded. I'm not super confident on the staff. I'll take results over credentials or reputation. I also get freak injuries but I'm more concerned about the frequency of the combined injuries.
Huge bummer. At least we can develop some other guys now, with more minutes and shots, but the expectations for the season have to be turned down quite a bit. At least it's not a knee or lower leg thing, those tend to be recurring and destabilize a bunch of other muscles. Hopefully Paolo will be fine and back to where he was before we know it. Hopefully this doesn't make him tentative of driving into contact whenever he gets back, since that's one of his greatest strengths.
I think the injury definately affected him in the second half. That fourth quarter makes sense now. It impacted the whole team. Mose is going to be tested now. I wonder who starts. Isaac can't take the extra minutes or he would have already been playing more. Moe? At least he works well with his brother.
End of the season pot of gold rainbow, we beat the Celtics in the first round as the number 8 seed in Boston. Just like Denver best Seattle in 1994!👍🏻So you’re saying there’s a chance to save this season!🤔🤷🏼♂️👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
This is devastating. Paolo looking like he was making the leap to all nba possibly mvp candidate. Looking like home court advantage is unlikely ,but now it’s Franz time. I’m guessing JI starts, and TDS will get some minutes. But everybody needs to step up and just try to maintain .500 until Paolo gets back. And make a playoff push. PS This was my daughter’s first Halloween she went trick or treating. Now I will remember this Halloween for 2 reason
Can we do a full review on the medial/training staff here? How is this team always injured? Maybe it's normal, but I notice it more for Orlando because it's my team? I mean, how can they have an Advent Health center or whatever and have all these injuries? I would remove my name if I were Advent Health. Probably killing the value of the company
Franz is a all star aswell he will step up and carry us till P5 gets back Sugss is having a good start he can score 20 25 our bench has to step up they havnt been like last season
its okay weltass signed kcp so this team is in great hands with his 13 percent three point shooting.. instead of signing a shot creater/ 3rd scorer with 55 million in cap smh
@pearljam_1 no dude hes been like that his whole career. he has never been a shot creater just a 3 and d guy which this team didnt need. this team needed a shot creator or a pg not a gary harris clone
@@stevec4189 He’s averaged double figures for years and is 40% from 3. I was responding to your “13%” comment. They have high hopes for Suggs and AB so I’m sure that factored in to the decision. Just relax man no need to be so negative. You can’t say “see I told you so” after five games.
@pearljam_1 55 million in cap and kcp was the best they could do = failure point blank. u can defend the signing all u want he wasnt needed this team already had their sg in jalen suggs. this team had other major needs but instead chose to ignore them and now there gonna feel the consequences
@ I’m not defending the signing, I’m saying their goal was to promote from within at PG. What’s done is done. My point was and has been that KCP is better than you suggest from his 5 game performance. My second point was about the negativity. People like you just want to complain about coaching and the FO whenever things aren’t going perfectly. If you want to make the deals go apply for a job at the front office. Otherwise just pipe down and save your whining for the end of the season when you have actual results, not speculation.
This team is deep. We may be surprised here at how resilient the Magic will be through this. Remember Paulo is 21 years old- he will bounce back quickly.
I don't think a trade for a big would be good. Paulo will be back. They still need a point guard to help take the pressure off Paulo and Franz. We need one more German to add to the group. I think Jersey has one . . . Moe praised him as a great competitor.
This is a great opportunity for Franz to finally evolve into a true #2 on a winning team.
That's the positive outlook I'm looking for. It's so woe is me to not expect the other guys to step up and hold the fort down until P5 gets back
Yeah, hopefully this creates a growth opportunity for Franz and the guards in their new roles as they will need to do more.
The Wagner bros will step it up I expect moe to turn into a dollar store Paolo
You guys are always there when I need you
Always will be
Cole had a similar injury his 3rd year. He was back in 4 weeks. Hopefully Paolo proves to be the tank he is and comes back in the same amount of time.
Thank you guys! 💙
As a Cavs fan, i was definitely looking forward to the Mobley-Banchero matchup tonight praying for a quick recovery for the young man
Much obliged and quite a ghastly timing after CHI end their losing streak against ORL.
It's heart-wrenching but this is about you show why it's different than the rest. Play for eachother! We got this Orlando!
Perhaps a blessing in disguise. Now the other guys can stop standing around watching Paulo, and start being the NBA players they are being paid to be.
Exactly
It’s time for franz to show what we expect from him,I believe he can deliver, also I have a good feeling about AB and Da Silva go magic 💯💪🏼🔥
He has been great so far his nba career. No reason he can’t step up and be the number one.
Needed this therapy session 🙏🏼

Starting line up after Cleveland
AB
Suggs
Kcp
Franz
Wendell
I knew something went wrong when I noticed him grimace. Not good for us. 😔 I hear six weeks, I'm hearing mid January at the earliest. Time to shine boys..✨
Teams done so well without Paolo..but I cant wait until he gets back. We need him going forward..hopefully others get healthy to
I needed this😢
Gonna be a huge opportunity for JI to start playing more mins and show the world what’s he’s been capable of given the mins.
i was looking up previous similar injuries to get an idea of the recovery time and Marcus Smart had the same injury in 2019. the culprit? ALSO NIKOLA VUCEVIC.
This is going to JI time. I BELIEVE!!!
I can believe this happen let's go magic
Haven’t listened yet, but black to the point, slide Suggs to the 2, and Issac to the 4 makes the most sense - Kenny to the 2nd unit
Really sucks because they were on there way, ain’t no telling how we gone come out after he comes back hopefully we still in position
Happy Halloween 🎃 ♏️....GOOOO MAGIC 💯 💯
24:31 I like the whole roster, truly doubtful about trading and we are not letting go of an early pick from DEN either.
29:00 Al Faroq Aminu was traded for a tenfold reason.

Bro first the buccaneers now this.
4-6 week recovery probably leads us to believe a grade 2 tear. Good blood flow to the area but annoying , wishing him the best

I think we need to sign a veteran 3 or 4 to help off the bench. Gallinari would be a solid piece to help this young team, especially off the bench.

I'm here because of Mac! Go Magic!

What if mose throws Da Silva into starting lineup cuz he hates messing with 2nd unit. Might be too early to be committed to the rotation

Ugh. While this certainly sucks…the timing isn’t awful.
I feel that our depth is SEVERELY underrated.
Time to nut up, or shut up.
GO MAGIC!!🏀💙
I’m panicking, I’m scared, I’m not okay

They will make their name by healing players quicker
Its over
Time For AB time
Hey guys do you think this injury will affect Paolo long term?
He'll be fine
Franz is a all star aswell he will step up and carry us till P5 gets back Sugss is having a good start he can score 20 25 our bench has to step up they havnt been like last season
It is Vooch's fault, kinda ironic isn't it
Welp looks like we will be a play in team now :/
Absolutely devastated
KCP needs to step up
I’m so depressed
We might be cooked
This is so insane smh

We are absolutely fucked...........Paolo missing an All Star appearance. This shit feels like the first step to a downward spiral.
Patience, we will be okay in the long run because this is going to force everyone to get better and grow up as professionals!
This team is deep. We may be surprised here at how resilient the Magic will be through this. Remember Paulo is 21 years old- he will bounce back quickly.
Devastated 😢
Bam adebayo will be a magic
Devastating news.
On what I’m sure is a purely unrelated note, I’m off to take a bath with my toaster.

I still believe in Jalen & AB. They need time, this definitely makes it harder.
Schroder would be a really good pick up
@@SixthManShow I'm watching Tyus Jones dish out 10 assists with 1 turnover as Phoenix makes their comeback and thinking what could have been.
