Oh my gosh!!! This is really thinking outside the box!!! So much creativity going on here, loving those pumpkin strings, lol, what an excellent idea! Love love love!!!
Girl!!!! I knew I was going to LOVE Hal(itosis)!! The fact that you used an old, dried up pumpkin from last year, blows my mind! I loved that he is organic!! Absolutely amazing! I can't with his eye in the mask 🤣🤣🤣GENIUS!! He is soooooo YOU! Totally encapsulates your creativity & your humor!! I am convinced that if you were stuck on a desert island, you'd build a fabulous city out of items you found on the ground...and it would become a hot destination spot!! You truly are BRILLIANT, Boo and one of my all-time faves! Luv ya, D!! 😘 Thank you for hosting & including me! You rock 🎃🎃🎃
Oh my gosh Dawn! You always always throw us a great curve with your Halloween ideas. This was so unique and original. I love it! Thanks for hosting this great playlist😊
I think this is one of my absolute favorite projects of yours! He turned out so good! What you did with his eye and the pumpkin seeds and the embroidery floss is absolutely brilliant! I love him so much! 😍😍😍 Thank you for inviting me to cohost this awesome collaboration! ❤👻🎃
You are incredibly creative. Only you could make something like the pumpkin innards look SO good. You’re right about using house paint. It covers excellent and is very cost efficient. Nice to meet Hal… Hal O’Ween. Irish I think… 🤔🎃 Thank you again Dawn. -Charles
Thank you so much! This is so cool, I have a bunch of these that I had collected/and dried over the years but was not sure what to do with them now 🤔, so now thanks to you I can start to give some of them a new life! 🧡💜🎃🖤🎃💛💚
This was really creative. I didn't know where you were going with this at the beginning when you started with the old, dried pumpkins...but this looks really amazing. Great job!
From the moment I set eyes upon Hal, I was in love. This is hands-down my favorite creation of yours, ever! I know I am going to have to nerf joust with Monica to acquire him someday, but I am down for the challenge! Incredibly clever and superb in every detail! Thanks for hosting what I think may be the best playlist ever. Love ya!

Thank you for watching Rose, and for such a sweet comment!! All I can say is that I hope more people like you watch, share, comment and subscribe to keep helping me grow. I appreciate you very much! Have a great weekend!!!
No, LOL, I just left them in my yard through the fall and winter. I was doing my spring yard clean up and raked them up. I think my husband threw a few in the compost but I grabbed 3 for projects. They were left out for the squirrels, raccoons and chipmunks to munch on over the fall and winter. They can get the credit for hollowing out the pumpkins. Then nature took over and they dried like that. Thanks for your question and sweet comment Karen! Have a fabulous day!!
LOL, it's called letting the raccoons and squirrels eat through the outside and then minus 10 degrees, snow and sleet. Sadly I don't know if you will be able to recreate the same effect. You could try cutting a large hole into it and taking some of the insides out. Then letting it sit in the sun to dry out. Let me know it that works. Have a great day. Thanks for the comment.
I love Hal ❤️ creepy and cute at the same time! 😊 tyfs
Thanks Tiffany!

You are truly talented. I love this. Did you do anything special in order to dry out the pumpkin? 😊

Dawn, I am new to using the 3n1 glue where do you purchase the large bottle? I bought a small one and realized quickly I need the jumbo size.
I got the 3n1 Glue on Amazon Bonnie. I'm glad I did get that big bottle.
I bot a pumpkin last Oct. From walmart. Ok itd been outside hete in Vegas and hasnt deterorated. So what chemical are they putting in there?
