Any chance you know how to turn the effects on for the the usb out? i'm streaming with OBS using the TF1 as a an interface and the desk sends a dry signal to the software even with post fader turned on for the active channels. I can't find the info anywhere on line.
The N12's were great. They packed a lot of awesomeness into a really small mixer. Thanks for letting us know you liked the video. If you have any questions when you get your new console give us a call.
Great Video, Thanks you! Comparing the TF1 and TF3, it looks like the TF1 does not have overall EQ is that correct? the Specs say no GEQ. Are We not able to EQ a room with the TF1 only the individual channels?
Is it possible to set a default scene to load when you turn on the mixer? I'm purchasing a new mixer for a church and would love to offer the ability to just turn the system on and have the pulpit mic live and ready to go.
That sounds a little dangerous... but I still have the TF and CL consoles in the studio and I looked at them this morning and can't find any way to do this. They both recall whatever scene it was on when they're turned off. I read through the manuals and didn't find anything either. You might be able to do it by creating a usb "User Key" that only has access to 1 particular scene, but I'm not sure you can do that either. The best alternative might be to create the scene you need and lock it in the console so it can't be overwritten and recall that scene each time the room is used.
Very clean and nice. How does this console compare to A&H GLD 80 and 112 ??? Why is the Midas M32 still so expensive compared to these with no touch screen??
Hello Beloved sir I'm from Nepal. Thank you so much for this video i really enjoyed your overview and i also Learn so many things. I have a Yamaha TF. please make a more video about this i really want to learn more. May Jesus Christ bless you
Yes it does. Download the manual here: download.yamaha.com/api/asset/file?language=en&site=countrysite-master.prod.wsys.yamaha.com&asset_id=64726 and go to page 50 under the heading "RTA/Keyboard Display

Apple's Logic Pro X supports a maximum of 255 channels strips... www.apple.com/logic-pro/specs/ discussions.apple.com/thread/2416350?start=0&tstart=0 All you'll need is Dante's "Virtual Soundcard" www.audinate.com/products/software/dante-virtual-soundcard ...And a decent ethernet connection.
I guess manufacturing costs are the main hurdle. Many years later, I can't find this cheaper than 2k. Allen & Heath Q16 is cheaper and has more features like DAW control. Maybe the Yamaha's preamps are amazing or something
How I hate these "Reviews", that mostly repeat what the manufacturers and all their peddlers have already repeated 30 times. So I look for a "review", carefully avoiding videos from Yamaha, Sweetwater, B&H and everyone else I know to be a store or marketer: And I still get the same completely uncritical listing down of features until the cows come home! How the hell did it sound compared to something else? How easy was it really to set up scenes and adjust FX during a live event - compared to something else? Someone said the pinching and stretching with their fingers on the touch screen kinda slowed them down. Was that just sausage fingers? Is the touch screen responsive? Is it good enough quality to see it well when sitting down in front of the desk instead of being bent over it? Obviously I could go on, but it should be the You-tubers that go on. But they're too afraid to get excluded from the next early access if they say one negative word. So TH-cam is more worthless than Amazon with all its confused reviews: "It got shipped really fast! 5 stars!" "My poodle fell over it! 1 Star! Would give zero if I could" And this is 3 Years later - how long can manufacturers really keep a lid on youtube? Maybe all the people who actually know how good or mediocre this thing is are too busy working concerts to make youtube videos....
Those DCA groups are awesome. I want to get this mixer for my recording studio.
We use the TF5 in our church, and I'm learning a lot on the fly.
Great video, clear and concise. Cheers from the UK!
Good job explaining function. Are there plug-ins? Like classic compressors etc.?
At 3:56, the tape also dismounts the scrible strip cover???

AGI Professional - Thanks so much for the research and info!
Anybody got a solution for delay for time alignment for the mains? The only one I've found that comes close is the guy from Thailand...
Use a matrix/aux and you can set time delay.
For some reason my second saved preset gets deleted every time I turn off the console. Any idea as to why this happens?

Isn’t the Midas cheaper?!?!
I think the behringer X32 is cheaper
