    600 trains everyday; are they continuously migrating

    • @ikuto122
      @ikuto122 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      As someone who knows a thing or 2 about trains. I'll try to answer this. So firstly, sometimes they need to travel by trains to get to their destination which could be anywhere. Plus, not every place has a road or an airport so plane or cars are definitely not the best option. Some rural areas definitely do not have airports and roads but they do usually have train stations since trains were heavily used back then. Another thing is that not all of these trains are passenger trains. They could be mostly freighter. Lastly, not all the trains are actually used by passengers. These are known as ghost trains ,similar to ghost planes, they are services that run between stations that are not advertised much and run to keep the route open legally so that the company can run other routes on it. For example, in the UK. There is a ghost train that runs from Paddington to West Ruslip run by the National Rail using tracks alongside the Underground. This helps the route stay open.
      I hope you understand my explanation 🙂
