For me, today's lesson reinforces yesterday's lesson about God's gift of freedom and free will. We are free to choose... and what will it be? The narrow gate or the gate that is wide? Choose wisely, grasshopper.

Tea strong black with milk no sugar.. Coffee is an occasional treat these days. Look forward to John’s teaching each morning before my tea & toast. Gets me in the right mindset before I start my day.

Always tea. Always black, never green. Hot no sugar with Half and Half in the morning and iced no sugar or lemon later in the day.
Simple, common sense wisdom. Thank you. Once you a person has committed so much time and effort and getting deeply into and down the narrow road the last thing you want to do is make choices that take you back where you started just to go through it again. What I figured out though is that while traveling down the narrow road we are actually trading in our serpents for gold.

I used to drink coffee for a long time. Then for health reasons, I had to drink coffee black without artificial sweetener and creamer. I realized that I really didn't like coffee, and began drinking Earl Gray Black Tea with bergamot, adding a dash of cinnamon. I choose to drink tea now. I enjoy 2 cups black tea in the morning, and herbal teas and/or lemonade along with water during the rest of the day as desired.

I really like coffee but I decided that tea was better for my health so I’ve been drinking tea for a while now. I like tea but I miss my morning coffee.

Coffee ☕️ in the morning (even though it's decaf!) AND tea (herbal) in the evening. Sorry, guys, but that’s an both/and for me 😂 However, if you had asked, "Pickles or olives?" PICKLES all day long!! 😂❤❤🎉

😂I’m very curious what your thesis is going to be here because we Both learned the beauty of this phrase in Bible college And read/referenced your books there.
I suspect you’re not going to connect the both/and to all aspects of life, but just something specifically. Not things like “I can be both hurried and lazy” or “I can be both happy and sad.”
I don’t like coffee or tea. If I want some caffeine I will drink a diet soda.
I wonder why there are so few people like Dallas Willard, yourself & your people😊
Check out John Mark Comer, Bob Goff, and Donald Miller (the last two are more story-style with lessons from their lives though).
