Finally... the channel i have been looking for.
Private Rites was my most anticipated release of the entire year and I've just started it today. After Our Wives Under the Sea I basically vowed to buy whatever Julia Armfield came out with next, so I couldn't be more excited haha. The atmosphere and writing so far is incredible!

Also, can I just say that I love how you include such a wide variety of books, even if you don't particularly love the subgenre yourself? For example: I'm a sucker for cosmic horror, and have found quite a few recommendations via these videos, even though you mentioned it's not your favourite genre. Your videos make for such a good resource for a variety of horror-readers.
Thank you!! I try to include as much as possible like different subgenres as well as thrillers because we all love different things. Cosmic horror might not be for me but I know many people enjoy it. 🤗

I have ended up preordering so many books!!! The shame 🙈 I hope you enjoy The Gathering as much as I did. I also have enjoyed so far all her other books and yes, vampires make it always better
