@TheLZ20 You are right. There are Hmong products at the store like the hmong coconut juice and rice, but aren't those imported from overseas? We need to grow our own rice here and make our own produces here.

@yoghmoob - You have to be at Zos Hmoob to see it for yourself. The place has vendors from many other race/people, not just Hmong.

@beekyosuke Rice take about a year round to harvest in warm weather condition with lot of water supply. The areas in the United State that can sustain and mass produce are the Southwest and Southern states. Georgia and Mississippi would be the perfect location. I wish I have money to invest in rice production. The price of rice is up from $35 to $65.

@TheLZ20 You're right on the money. I hear that people in cali do it, but they're too stupid to monopolize it.

I hope he understood what the reason why Hmong customers go elsewhere is before he made this speech. Good businesses will attract anyone, anywhere, not just your own people. Businesses with better services will see more customers. Good service knows no boundaries.

The issue is not because Hmong doesn't support Hmong businesses. I disagree with VP on this issue. Hmong has no created products of their own. They rely on other too much. Hmong small business but cheat products from other Asian groups and sell it for more. Why would one buy the same item or product for more when he/she can get at the same price. For Hmong business to grow, we shouldn't rely on other to produce the good. We must produce the good.

Why did the Hmong Village Owner allow other non business owners there? Is this for Hmong Community should limit to only Hmong Business Owners. Example, in China Town there are only Chinese Owners there but other non Chinese people can shop there, or like Vietnamese or Mexican Town....same thing here. It's a mistake. No Offense here.
