I have listened to this off an on for many years. At a worship service a few years ago when an instrumental interlude was being played, I heard the words of Graham Cooke in my spirit. He loves you, because He loves you, because He loves you etc. I got up to our open mic and shared ,reiterating those words. The worship tailed off and the order changed to offering time. We had different people on a rotation who would say or feature an exhortation as encouragement during the offering. Unbeknownst to me the lady had chosen some days before an excerpt from the beloved. He loves me, because He loves me, etc. An audible gasp went through the crowd. I said all this because that morning we were having a special speaker. The speaker had a harsh word and this intervention by the Father took all the sting out of that word. Unconditional love, not performance, fosters healing and obedience.
The paradigm shift is absolutely true and necessary. I have hated myself for so many years, that hearing that I was supposed to love myself and feel good about who "GOD" made me to be was very foreign and hard for me to accept. It still is. But God is faithful and He is setting us free from lies one day at a time.

After years of addiction and being ruled by the enemy I was a empty not worth knowing vessel. Then as I seeked help for my addiction their was a hand before me that was willing to reach down into the pit I was in and help me out of that dark well, I looked up after taken that hand to thank the face of my saviour, it was jesus. And ever since that moment jesus had always helped me through the hard times and always shine the light in the darkness. I remember when I thought I wasn't worth anything as a person as a dad , son ...anything. Then I was introduced to this track. And it has helped me see I am worthy. It's so awesome how God sees us now, as we are in Christ; Righteous and Perfect, because of the precious blood of His Son. Yes, it does. "Love your neighbor as yourself". How can you extend love to others when you don't love yourself. This isn't a selfish "me first" love. It's the ability to see yourself as God does. It's a paradigm shift. "That which a man thinks in his heart, so he becomes", If you think you are unloveable, you will be unlovable. If you think you are ugly, you will reflect that from the inside out. God wants you to see the unique person that he made. Everyone, has an assignment.
One of our greatest needs as human beings is to be loved💑💕. We all need love🙅*sigh*. We need to know that we are important to somebody, that somebody truly cares about us, wants us, and accepts us unconditionally. When we doubt that we are loved, we may develop unacceptable behavior patterns to compensate for it. For example, we may act irresponsibly in a desperate attempt to get attention. Attention is a poor substitute for love but it seems better than nothing at all. We may develop physical symptoms that bring us sympathy and concern. The symptoms cause us genuine pain, but the pain of sickness is more bearable than the pain of admitting that nobody cares. We may angrily lash out at those whom we think should care or we may try to run away from them and hide, but in either case, we are trying to protect ourselves from the hurt they are causing us by their lack of concern. We all need to know that somebody loves us ..a void that only the heavenly & eternal love of J.E.S.U.S can fill 🙌😉
