Scareclaws are really good in these types of events since they can be played going 1st or 2nd. The only real issue of the deck is that if you're going 1st and yo u get hit by Maxx C, Droll or imperm, then would hurt a lot. Also this deck walks face first into Nibiru

I am just stating my goal here so please don't feel bad or ashamed for doing what you did. Just as I was saying, pure Scareclaw is pretty mid in this format since there's an abundance of handtraps that could easily kill the deck, as well as board breakers dismantling the board easily since they (Scareclaw) don't have a negate. But even with these issues, it's still viable to use in the ladder.

Scareclaw is such a versatile deck. Being able to build it as a going first or going second deck makes it super fun to play
