I don’t really mind the language as long as they’re comfortable singing/rapping in it. That’s why I don’t mind Chan and Felix releasing full English songs but I sure would do a double take if Minho or Binnie did it. Twice did a good job on their English releases but the last couple BTS songs had me shaking my head. JKs English solos are fine though. It’s exactly what he has been talking about liking since he was 16 💜 And Namjoon has been comfortable with English for years now and it shows 😏

English being in songs might help a little, but I don’t listen to kpop with a desire for more English. I mean… nmixx sprinkles in Spanish and English into their Korean.

It takes time to tune your hearing to a new language but I think you are getting there....when you were watching Kingdom it wasn't bothering you. So in a way, we are in a toxic relationship with the emotion of anxiety itself. We cope with anxiety because we know that we can perform better when we are under pressure, but we also know our emotions of fear can go into overdrive to the point where you see warning signs everywhere or you feel paranoid. The lines "I'm going crazy now, out of control, I'm staying up all night" and "you know I can't leave you alone" indicate this significance that the emotion anxiety has in our lives. That's why the song can also be understood as a toxic relationship with anxiety.

There's English in nearly every song! They nearly all speak English perfectly. Bang Chan and Felix are Australian so English is their first language. Han went to school in Singapore where they speak English, and Hyunjin grew up in America.. stop being surprised! 😂😂😂

Bangchan is an extremely talented lyricist & musician that people sometimes forget. Hyunjin is also those things, too & not just a pretty face. Both men are extremely talented, as are all of Skz.

Yea the lyrics are legitimately about fighting your obsessions. And yes the video - they wanted it to be sexy. In general they wanted the whole package to be left up to each viewer’s own interpretation. But the coolest thing I heard Chan say was visually, they were supposed to be the opposite sides of the same person. And they brilliantly pulled that off!

Most of theirs songs have both Korean and English, or Japanese and English. The song is originally called Compulsion in Korean and is about their obsession with work, but as always they want us to put our own interpretation on it. You should check out "Howl in harmony" is the episodes that show how the 3 groups, Bang Chan/Hyunjin, Lee Know/Felix/Chanbin and Han/Seungmin/I.N came up with the concepts for their songs.
