When we first moved here, i was surprised that the squirrels weren't wearing cowboy hats. I literally thought everybody wore cowboy hats and boots. I'm glad that everyone dresses how they want to. I've lived here a couple years now. The best part of living here- people are friendly. It's from the heart. I've made friends just by going to the grocery store. I'm so thankful we moved here.
Lived there 30 years never saw a snake or scorpion ,My parents bought a house in Hawley that sat Vancant for awhile and had spiders all in it and had to be sprayed

It’s a nice town for sure but pay is very low 😢😢😢. No oil fields

I don’t live in Abilene but I have friends there. They tell me the crime is terrible there.
