This is an absolutely excellent layered system for sure. 02:35 Product listing: - Silk Liner Touch Point 5-finger (Liner) - Army Leather Patrol 5-finger (Regular glove) - Pull Over Mitt (Shell glove)
please put some information up, which gloves can be combined with which. Your Website does not show any information. Which Gloves are you showing in the video?
I was curious too and after looking looking on the site I believe I figure out what is in this video. The base layer is "MERINO WOOL LINER ACTIVE", glove is "ARMY LEATHER PATROL", and shell is "PULL OVER MITT".
The White Mitt is described only as their warmest glove, anyone know what that mitten is called ? Can't beleive they failed to mention a single Hestra model name of the 4 products shown in the video.
I bought a pair of your gloves, they have the goat leather but I got them pretty wet and now they are really stiff and not comfy. How can I get them soft again?
Great movie, this is what I always wanted, but never found. What should I search for if I want to buy this as a package? Is there a package with liner+wool+five finger glove+outer shell that’s even more flexible? My problem during winter is that I generate a lot of heat, but when I settle for night it’s still quite early and I have a lot of hours left before I hit the sack, I need “Super warm”, and this makes my pack extremely bulky and heavy, so I don’t want another pair, just wanna make the ones I carry extra warm.
If you want to learn to regulate your extremity warmth read the book, "What Does Not Kill Us." You will learn the skill of tolerating (even, enjoying) cooler temperatures.
I disagree with this layering system because no matter how good the insulation is on a glove i always have warmer bare hands when clenched into a fist. The mitten is the only thing that actually warms my hands because it closer to the natural design of clenching all fingers and hand together. Try putting sock over a fist and you'll see how much warmer it is compared to thickest glove.
As a winter backpacker with half a century of wilderness experience, I cannot believe you do not have convertible mittens with liner gloves for dexterity. Unbelievable. Make yourself a whole new profit center by pursuing that niche. Be sure to make the liner gloves fully removable and include at least two pairs of liners with every pair of mittens. You will be driving Bentleys and Porsches very shortly. The additional pair of liner gloves gives you the ability to dry the liners while using the alternate pair. As you know, safety in the event of wetting is critical in the winter. Many customers in humid, rainy regions like Scotland and the Eastern U.S. are crying out for this product.
Did you not hear what he said literally 10 seconds before? If your body gets cold, it will start to prioritise vital organs and so decrease blood circulation to your extremities (hands and feet), therefore, if you keep your body and head warm your body doesn't need to 'rob' heat from your hands and feet to stay warm.
@@khalil7011 That is not the case though. There are plenty of Mt. Everest climbers that lost their hands, fingers, toes and feet due to frost bite, but are still alive. You hands and feet do not rob from your core. They are just the first to go. Warming your head and core (sweater) is just that..... ONLY warming your head and core.
@@nuffflavor you’re misunderstanding. He says covering your head is helpful as it won’t cause your body to stop warming your extremities as much due to your head being cold. By preventing your head from getting cold, it helps the body regulate heat and continue circulating blood to the extremities
@@foretell6819 Not really. Covering your head help keeps heat from escaping faster causing you from going into .Hypothermia. Your head produces more heat than your hands and feet. Therefore, covering it will keep you from losing heat at a faster rate. It will not protect your hands and feet.

I'm missing this too. Great information, but no help when it comes to the layering system! I don't even know which ones are in this video.
Yeah this is disappointing

You should have a link to your products... Kind of a no-brainer.
Awww my fingers!! Can someone save my fingers!? I cried, so did you. lol ; )
Ni gör jävligt bra filmer!
It's not even a movie stupid
Ja och nej. Informativt är filmen, absolut. Men att de inte nämnar ett enda produktnamn i filmen är inte klok, till och med ofattbar.

kink lord I got you, watch this: th-cam.com/video/0lEGSaI0DxA/w-d-xo.html
I do the same with my headgear and use layers.
Except Hestrom doesn’t sell the mitten shell in the larger sizes!

Are skiing gloves a good choice for general use in the city during winter or they are supossed to be used only for outdoor winter sports?
I wear ski gloves while cycling in the winter. As long as they are not outrageously large I think they are fine for the city
Can you also wear sky pants for daily use in the city on winter or they'd look ridiculous?@@manoz6194
What Model gloves were on The video?

what is the model name of the mitt that you used at the end of laying the 3 gloves, you referred to it as a "shell" but I can't see it on your site.

Their army leather has removable inner liner
Can someone please tell me The sizing? In terms of Small to XL thank you in advance
What is the Pull Over Mitt sizing like? If I wear size 9 Hestra gloves, do if go with size 9 overmitts or do you recommend to go one size up?
Same size as the gloves it says on their website.
Yup, same size is okay, plenty of room for a fivefinger glove
Warm gloves !
I bought 180 $ black diamond gloves and my hands got cold in 33 degree weather after walking for like 20 minutes. I am a 35 year old dude.
Mittens with a liner, not 'gloves' will keep your hands much warmer.
Sooo you want us to buy 3 sets of your gloves to be warm...Right.
Biscuits. Guitars.

My hand were frozen with these gloves hestra sucks
Made in China?

@ 0:42 Therefore, a good way to keep *hands & feet* warm....... is to wear a hat and a extra sweater. 😲The hell !?!?!
