Scheduled for spring 2021, Coming to America 2, or as it’s officially titled Coming 2 America, will tell us what happened to the all-beloved characters after all these years. Coming to Americs is a friggin classic. It is ingrained in the American conscience. So many moments from that movie have become like inside jokes between people all over the country...u quote a line and somebody will laugh and point to you...like " ahhaaa".

Just going to a family reunion of Black folks is crazy because you'll see people who you swear are your age and then realize it's Aunt Minnie who was already in her 30's when you were born and now she's 69 but still looks 37. When the original *Coming to America* came out during the Summer of 1998, I was on break from college working in a mall. I went to see Coming to America Thirteen Times! It was that good! And now, I am excited to see the long awaited sequel on March 5th. It will be fun to watch it with my granddaughter!

I love Eddie Murphy and as an adult I like to listen him originally but no doubt that watch a dubbed version of Coming to America or Beverly Hills Cop sounded in Portuguese makes all of us go back to golden childhood times.
