    I should have known it was the violin doing the cool echo thing in the first verse. So good.

    The use of the Theremin at 3:56 is genius. Really interesting sounding instrument

    Daaaamn, crazy performance, incredibly technical vocals, great drum sound and execution, and tom monda...being tom monda.

    I can't get over how much the vocalist reminds me of Jon H. Benjamin

    Man if only the mixing was a lil bit better 😔 but to be fair it’s probably a nightmare mixing all of that so hats off to them for giving it a try

      adam sanchez I feel like the vocals are good but they don’t suit the style, all and all great band but I wish the vocalist would switch it up

      @@themoniathansnest5404 guess we have to agree to disagree, i think he is one of the best vocalists ive ever heard, works perfectly for me, but its deffo most peoples complaint about the band

      Reminds me of Claudio Sanchez from coheed and cambria. Some people don’t like singers who sing high notes, but the funny thing is, these guys are 100x more talented than the haters favorite band. Probably listens to five finger death punch 😂

    Anytime I watch Thank you Scientist live it is always a different solo. I just want to hear the original 😢.

  • @thijs199

    What I'm hearing is not what I'm seeing. Thus, not live. But I've seen a live show. The vocals have been replaced here

    • @joshwilliams8863
      @joshwilliams8863 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Nah you're tripping. Just listen to the drop off in the vocals when he moves. It's hard to tell because it sounds like the mic has crazy gain and/or compression, but it's definitely live - just with a soundman who knows what they're doing.
      For contrast, listen to the studio version of Caverns at the theremin part around 3:57. More oscillation on the studio version because they can track that, but here because the dude is playing bass at the same time he gives it a couple of waves.

    • @joshwilliams8863
      @joshwilliams8863 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Plus he sounds a little pitchy in some parts, especially if you watch the whole segment and not just this one song. It's particularly noticeable if you're a vocalist.
