    Thank you so much 👍There was a lot of useful information! Does is matter where the couple gets married for the spouse visa - in the foreign national's home country or in the US (on a tourist visa)?

    • @HawksVillafrancaLaw
      @HawksVillafrancaLaw  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      We are happy to help! It doesn't matter. However, if you wish to get married in the U.S. on a tourist visa, you should be careful. Be sure to be honest about why you are coming to the U.S. and be careful not to overstay your tourist visa!

    So if the marriage visa is approved, and you enter the US with a green card, will you be able to work ? Or will you have to submit another visa for work ?

    • @HawksVillafrancaLaw
      @HawksVillafrancaLaw  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! Once you get married, your girlfriend can apply for U.S. residency. If she would like to keep her work visa and not apply for residency, whether your marriage will impact it will depend on the kind of work visa she has.

    Thank you so much for your videos, very informative and helpful. One question, I'm a US citizen, my fiancé is Filipina and has no children, if we get married in the Philippines and petition for a CR-1 visa, what happens if she becomes pregnant and has a child while we are waiting for our approval and interview? Will the baby be able to accompany her to the USA upon visa approval or will we need to get another visa for the child? Thank you for everything you do!

    Hi! Currently I'm 16 years old. My biological mother remarried when I was 6. My step brother is an by born US citizen who's over 21 years of age. He wants to petition for my step dad and my mom. I want to know if I'll automatically get visa through my biological mom since I'm under 18 years of age. I don't have any other guardians here other than my parents so it'll become a great problem if both of them moves to the US. So I'm sincerely requesting you to give me information on this matter.

    • @lovingsamantha9443
      @lovingsamantha9443 ปีที่แล้ว

      When your stepbrother applies for your dad and mom, your mom should list on her application. Since you are under 18, you would qualify under your mother. Have your brother get a lawyer to make sure you’re following the proper steps so it doesn’t take longer
