Crash Site Coordinates: 34.1368,-118.6923
Trail Start: Calabasas Bark Park (Dog Park in Calabasas)
Trail Name: Bark Park Trailhead (Starts at the end of the Parking Lot on the right)
2.13 Miles Round Trip
48 Minutes Total
330 Ft. Elevation Gain
Hiking Directions:
Hike Starts at the end of the ‘Calabasas Bark Park’ parking. Trail is behind Trail Kiosk, ‘Bark Park Trailhead.’ You will need to type the Crash Site Coordinates on your phone and it takes about 25-30 to hike to the actual site. Don't be surprised if you don't see a memorial or anything purple and gold, locals aren’t too fond of outsiders in their trails. Just a heads up!
Alternate Trail:
For the 1 year anniversary trail was closed so those who wanted to visit how to take the longer route from the New Millennium Loop Trail heading towards the Bark Park Trailhead, that trail is off of Calabasas Rd. that runs parallel to the 101 fwy.

From the very beginning of this video I seen that the trail seems to be far leading to Kobe's memorial does anybody know how long it takes to get up there or is it a mile or 2 mi I want to know I want to go visit him thank you for sharing rest in peace all those are involved in this tragic accident
2.13 miles roundtrip. About 48 minutes total. 330 feet elevation gain. I have the exact coordinates on thr video description. Type that in once you get to bark park bc there might not be a memorial or anything

20 minutes or so.
I was there today where did you find the figure #8 I couldn't find it?
wasn't there the following time I visited, the Calabasas resident aren't too fond of having anything Kobe related on their trails.

@@hikeronatrail yeah I was there when I messaged you I was so excited and I got the chills as soon as I walked up the hike . I really was looking forward to that cut out ! It was a amazing piece I’m so sad that the metal cut out ain’t there No more but there is a few accessories you can see people left .
I really didn't know Kobe Bryant even him as a celebrity but it's very sad what happened to him and his daughter and others on that helicopter /plane, but he may have bought light to the world for the basketball industry but he is not the light of the world, only JESUS is the light of the world, condolences to the Bryant family

I did the hike this week, it's 1 mile from the dog park to the crash site and 1 mile back. Relatively easy hike with a couple of mountain bikers passing by. I thought there would be a bigger memorial for the family

I went on Wikipedia and also compared with photos, i didn't want to go too into detail on crash site on video

@@__babyface wiki for general coordinates, i also used photos and saw other videos that went into detail. I didn't feel comfortable going into detail in my video. Are u planning on visiting soon?

No permit needed, hike starts at Calabasas Bark Park, trail is named "Bark Park Trail" and it starts closer to the end of the parking lot

The trail is behind the main trail sign, It is named "Bark Park Trail" and the Coordinates to the trailhead are 34.134482,-118.702335 .. Its about a mile hike to the Crash Site. Crash site Coordinates are 34.1368,-118.6923
