I think this is one of Howlett's best productions. The raw sawing basslines, the cranky soundbites, the guitar riffs... Brilliant. The negative critics can kiss my 4ss.

The track was originally written by Keith Flint and Jim Davies and later they decided Liam should make a remix so they worked on it. It was just an bonus track for TheProdigy, just a quick fun of a moment and they released it as a simple single. Liam got fed up with the whole Fat Of The Land vibe and wanted to do something else. So he did. He is known for messing around with things and when he gets bored of it he moves on to other projects.

Keith was an electric frontman, you cant keep your eyes off his mad face, crazy hair and mental clothes!!! Although Liam is the musical genius behind this energetic, aggressive sound that we all love, its Keith and Maxim (and formally Leeroy) that have helped to keep this incredible group alive. Watching The Prodigy live, you got to see how they all came together to make their shows the greatest of all time!!! Maxim as the epic MC, Keith as the punk singing, both working together to life the whole experience to a completely different level. I think that if it had just been Liam on his own, The Prodigy would have soon faded away, like the vast majority of dance acts over the years. Watching The Prodigy was a real experience and something I'll never forget!!!

I saw them live in 96, I was 16 then and up to this day, being 40 and seeing hundreds of amazing live acts, they still remain the best, nothing can compare to their fuckin' raw energy! RIP Keith, one of the best frontman ever!
Firestarter was a song about getting the crowd fired up...And Keith wrote the lyrics since originaly he was one of the groups hype dancers..Still love Baby's got a temper though..great track
Where they would be without Lliam's amazing innovative and timeless cross-genre music.
People tend to forget that Keith was just a dancer until 96 or so.
Breathe was the 2nd track Maxim ever sang on (not counting the live version of "Death Of The Prodigy Dancers").
It seemed weird that 3/4 of the band didn't do anything on the albums yet were listed as members
but live, they really are/were 3/4ths of the band. :D

thats what happened to me about 10 years ago, breathe and poison both brought me back to being a little kid watching much music, i was suprised how those songs stuck in my head forever and i wasnt even into it as a kid. Now prodigy is by FAR my #1 electronic act. I say electronic because i mean out of literally every sub genre lol
