@@1718cv Mark most assuredly did write “Mary, Did You Know,” when he was 26 years old. Buddy Greene wrote the music. And Mark would be the first to tell you that Jesus is THE center of Christmas, the reason for getting up every day, the very breath in our bodies. The shirt is just a goofy shirt, not a mission statement. There’s nothing wrong with having fun. We worship Jesus, not Santa. Jesus laughed and had fun, but He never lost His focus on His ministry, and Mark is like that, following Christ’s example.

This amazing song packs so much in it…a young woman as a new mother ponders over all her hopes and dreams of what the world may hold for her baby Son and what it all means. Whether or not Mary comprehended the overall divine purpose for her Son Jesus’ life & what it encompassed can only leave us to wonder. It was an exclusive sacred pact between her and the Lord. As the song implores of her if she knew, we can only guess at how much she understood and could fathom the magnitude of what had been placed upon her, and ultimately, her son Jesus. 😇✝️😇

Mark I love this song and I sing it or use to alot. My body is broken with spine pain. I'm bed bound for five yrs now. The worst part its taken my voice too. I can't sing now with out my voice cracking and pitch changes. I was in our church choir for many years and my tenor voice I've been told was very good. Doing solos it seemed to make me want to do KY best for God and our church. I've lost everything I loved to do. Waiting to die isn't fun. Seeing my wife doing all she can , she's hurting in body too. We had our daughter die from covid last Christmas eve. It has devastated us . she was only 43years old.Thanks for your music God bless , your brothers really good too!

Mark said he had more questions but he couldn’t find words that rhymned . I saw him perform this in Kansas City around 15 years ago. He said he was asked why he hadn’t written more songs, and he said he didn’t need to, since he had written the best one.
