Love you home! Praise God for a quality builder with a beautiful home! Our homes are very similar but your home is executed in the more luxurious manner & our home is smaller at 5,000 sqft. Unfortunately our “luxury” builder was subpar but they we manage to charge our luxury prices! So we have to fix all the issues they have not fixed after a year! Congratulations! 🙏🏾💕💕

The only downside for me is how close the neighbor's house is to the patio/ master bedroom. I would need to plant some tall trees for privacy

I don’t think I’d put carpet anywhere. I have allergies. Lol I like the marble tiled floors everywhere else. I love that kitchen! I love the large separated sinks, the standalone tub, and shower in the master. But can I ask about the stacked windows with window sills in the living room? Are they designed to put things on the ledges for each window? And are you having ceiling to floor drapes or each window will have their own curtain? And the back yard being sloped… will that be leveled out? Can’t wait to see the decor and changed you stated. Very nice home!!

I agree, I don’t like carpet either because no matter how much you vacuum, there is still a ton of disgusting stuff left behind on the carpet pad underneath. It’s a huge and beautiful home and I’d definitely change out the some of the light fixtures and the change the shower doors to frameless and change out some of the grey bathroom tile. I actually don’t like it when the marble countertops and backsplash are the same, I prefer a nice luxury look tile for the backsplash. I’m a bit of an introvert and would have to have a lot more space between me and my neighbors so I don’t feel like they are on top of me and definitely so that can’t see me in my backyard from their second story windows. I have to have space which includes parking spaces for entertainment. That staircase is to die for and absolutely stunning.
@@eagermom3449 yea I’ve gotten sick but that was an apt with carpet they “shampooed” instead of replacing. It looked new though. I didn’t figure it until I only sneezed from laying on the floor

@@j.carter6496 Sendera is a Title Company. They don’t sell tiles. You only need them when you are closing on your home.

I had skipped the intro to your video but as soon as I saw the walkthrough I knew that it was a First Texas Homes floor plan. I live here in DFW and so I’m very familiar with their homes. I had to rewind to the beginning to make sure I was right. They are all over the neighborhood I live in. Congratulations on closing. You’ll have a lot of fun decorating.

What contractor will you use to do your marble fireplace and backsplash? We are building with 1st texas and want to do something similar
Well I am talking to quite a few of them right now but some are twice as expensive. The cheapest I got for both the fireplace and backsplash is 15K with “Skyline Countertops”

Our plan wasn’t available anywhere as a model home. We picked it out of the blue and added some upgrades to make it the way it is. Our upgrades were 130K. The original plan is Stonebriar.
Beautiful home 🏠 I live in dfw area and wanted first Texas home so bad but their prices have skyrocketed it’s insane.
Yeah their prices is just crazy right now and they keep increasing everyday 🤦🏾♀️ 5Months into signing our contract they added 27K to our home price saying material prices have gone up and since our contract permitted it we didn’t have a choice but to accept the increase cuz we weren’t about to loose our home.

The Builder should have been able to do it for you. And, add it to your price as an upgrade.
They weren’t offering what I wanted so I told them to leave it blank.

Can you tell me the square footage of your home please. I am having the same house built only my house is left front swing.
Well I am not comfortable sharing that details but if you are having thesame house built then you should know the square footage.
Anyways we added some square footage to our home by upgrading & Increasing the size of some rooms to accommodate our needs e.g our master bathroom, our patio & we added a bathroom upstairs.
The reason I asked is that we also added rooms. I was just trying to better visualize what my house will look like. I played the video again and I heard you say 6,000 sq ft. So you did
