The only person in the world that Cassandra fears is Rapunzel. And for good reason, Rapunzel killed a woman at the tender age of eighteen, and only felt remorse for what, two seconds? Meanwhile, even when she was evil in Season 3, I don’t believe Cassandra ever actually took another man’s life.
Technically eugene chopped off her hair with no warning and honestly pascal was the one who made gothel trip using rapunzel’s severed hair. Also should rapunzel feel remorse for someone who kidnapped her and stripped her of a normal life?

For example, in Bones, Dr. Brennan shot and killed a serial killer who was about to kill Booth. This man tortured, and possibly even r worded, teenaged girls before murdering them. And yet, it shook Dr. Brennan to her core that she killed him, even though if she hadn’t, Booth would’ve died.

Maybe in TTS the writers felt ready to depart from gothel and wanted to focus on the rocks and kingdom itself.

Well, the jokes on you, Raps were literally stuck in the tower for 18 years.... So she's still new to the outside world, that made her still so cheerful... Nevertheless, it's refreshing to see someone being positive. And also, Raps also got the anger especially when she gets to experience more with people! And she done ABSOLUTELY ALOT of things since she's stuck in the tower... So it made sense.....

I don't think how many people realise how she's like. NOT perfect. That's the whole point of her character. She is learning. I think there are even times where the show forgets that. I really encourage people to go back and watch Before ever after, or any filler episodes from season 1 like 2-15. I mean literally in episode two she leans what "boo" means. Personally, I'm surprised on how she's not MORE messed up as a character considering shes lived in isolation her entire life up until the show. I mean obviously yes, kid show, gotta make the characters likable. But that doesn't change the fact that for someone who's discovering the real world for the first time, all while having to like fight bad guys and deal with betrayal and saying the wrong things,, like she's doing pretty good with what she has. I do wish the show expanded on her troubles after season 1 when they had off-handed comments about her life in the tower. Because she has easily cemented a place for herself in the show as the bubbly, main character who is almost maternal? Compared to the movie at least she gives that vibes now. There's so much more to her than meets the eye than just the haha silly optimist character. I just feel like she's constantly getting criticised, between the fans and the show with all the betrayals she's gone through, I just feel like damn give my girl a break😭
