Thanks... nice ride. now I'm off to the SRP expressway and now I'm back Awesome drive... Powerful car acceleration is smokin fast handling is great top speed is excellent modelling is beautiful ...just except the x2010 i'm kinda short of things to race it against Keep up the great work!
This is a great MOD Mike..., 👍😎 Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us during your test drive. 👌 I'll seek to add this to my collection based on your excellent recommendation. 😉👌
I've been a long time VRC supporter, but at some point in last year or so, dating back to the Formula NA pack they've done some strange things with their cars. They've been putting very strange power archs on their vehicles lately. Just way over the top turbo lag and ridiculous on throttle oversteer. I find the NA 2018 nearly un drivable. Hopefully this mod is better, but gonna need to see some more video of this car before I consider a purchase
WromWrom hey man! Yeah, I’m getting some pretty significant frame skips with the latest preview of Custom Shaders Patch. I’ll probably roll it back to the latest stable build.
Thanks for the vid. I seen this promo'd on the FB page. A little disappointing as I thought with NL sponsorship, it would be part of the "free mod" range. Will be added to my VRC collection though not a straight up buy.
You sponsored your videos with Next Level Racing, but now, VRC sponsored the Auriel 8 with Next Level Racing as well! Just look at the badge on the steering wheel!
Great video Mike! Nice review of a very cool mod! Question: Are you comfortable in that seating position? I wouldn't be, but I am not as tall as you - your wheel looks a little low, and a bit far away from your body. I personally find being closer to the wheel, particularly at higher FFB gain settings, it's easier to pull down on the wheel to turn, than it is to reach and turn with my wrists and arms (I'm not explaining that very well but its a lesson I was taught way back when I raced real cars .. and sim racing wasn't invented yet .. and neither were home computers come to that!).
RubberStig hey man! Thanks so much for checking out the video. Yes, I like the seating position. It’s almost a Formula position rather than a GT position, but I can drive for 30 -45 minutes (which is the longest sessions I ever do, really) without any discomfort.
@@SimRacing604 Cool. Thanks for answering my question Mike. I only did the tiniest bit of Formula V (like a Skippy) before moving to sedans and GT style racing so I guess I see everything in those terms. Glad you are comfortable!
Awesome video keep up the great work
Francis Clark that’s so great to hear. Thanks so much for your kind words!
1:49 I’m going to fire my editor!
Who I suppose is... you? 😊

I had to tweak the suspension and the differencial a bit to counter the oversteer and unstable braking and now its all right! Lovely car.
Hi, can you tell me how did you do this? I have a lot of oversteer. Thanks!

Norman Robinson Norman! How are you my man? Yes, I think you’ll like this mod. It’s really well done, but challenging

Agreed. The NA 2018 is/was undrivable until someone modded the physics on Race Department. Check it out, it makes the car immensely better.
@@SteveSmith-fh6br yes I actually have that mod, does make the car much better. Wish that person would do ovals and the other NA cars too
Steve Spam does anybody know if there are also better physics (so much oversteer in the basic version) available for the Audi Auriel?
Wish VRC would make mods for rF2. This would be great to drive around the recently released Le Mans track.
Cool edit man , I am the nut case that try's to learn F1 in the LA Canyons .
Great video mate, keep em coming.
Hei Mike, the video - at least on my system, ist kinda jerky. Are you having issues with the GPU?

These guys do a great job👍
I don't get how the cockpit would need to show a permanent message.
Which antialising settings you put your game on i see no jaggies?

very good Mike as all ways
julesverne46 thanks so much!
Just got assetto Corsa today and I can’t launch any races or practice it just loads for a second.
Does this car require some specific controller button mapping - because when ever I put this car in gear the engine shuts down?
RuffRider weird! You can’t stall in Assetto Corsa, so I’m not sure what’s going on. It might be a clutch issue. Check your controls mapping
@@SimRacing604 This is the only car in my setup that is having this problem. I reinstalled the car twice but it did not fix the problem.
I just discovered that the car functions normally when I put it in reverse but the engine shuts down when in forward gears'
