Out of the big three I like Bleach the most but Soul Society Arc got some bs moments even with like Kenpachis reasons for being not as strong. It's just a statement but Vinland Saga imo when I watched it I was ready to be like this is just overhyped. But it really is that good, season 2 is still great but not as great as season 1 of Vinland Saga. I'm attempting to be objective here too, I personally think Hueco Mundo is better executed (Soul Society Arc strengths are in planting seeds with Aizen the whole conspiracy build up is way better than the fights)

Rdc not knowing the difference between sagas and arcs will never cease to amaze me for them being anime niggas, The android SAGA was from when Trunks showed up till Gohan killed cell, The cell ARC was from when Piccolo fought cell till Gohan killed cell, In one piece you have the paramount war SAGA, which starts from saboady till the beginning of the timeskip but you have the impel down arc, marine ford arc, sbaoady arc, and amazon lilly arc in the SAGA. Uwufufu kinda cheated cause the 4th great ninja war is more of a saga than a arc, SAGAS are the overarching story that connects across multiple arcs, ARCS have the characters doing different objectives to reach the goal of the SAGA. The goal of the 4th great ninja war SAGA, was to defeat the threat of the Akatsuki once and for all but in that SAGA you have different arcs like fighting the white zetu, then you have the madra fight arc which is the longest in the saga then you have kaguya arc

Like the arc was still good but the pacing wasn’t that good at all, Neji dying and not having a big moment in Part 1 along with Rock Lee was missed opportunity and it dragged on for way too long. I have every arc in Part 1 over the war arc. Pain is EASILY the best arc of shippuden because of how good the buildup was for Pain, Jiriya’s sacrifice and Sage Mode.

I love Hunter x Hunter ,more than any other anime , but no way the 20 episode Hunter Exam arc is better than season 2 of JoJo
Jojo part 2 has a training "arc" that lasts what 2 episodes max meanwhile hunter exam is all build and training for 20 episodes, Ben and Dyl do not remember anything
The exam arc is definitely not too great. Some flashes of greatness, but the first 11 episodes can be a barrier for a lot of people as their is a definite dip/slog to get through. The second half of the Exam is great, though.

Nah he was praising fake karakura hella but his criticism of soul society are kind of valid tbh even though kenpachi was explained, ichigo power was he just sets way to much it’s kind of like luffy and crocodile. Crocodile was very very strong which we found out later on in the series yet lost to a no gears luffy. Byakuya and kenpachi are both very very strong yet lost to a shikai/ new bankai ichigo. It’s cap which is what dyl is saying

Dead seriously though, when they tried to line up Annie to go underground, one of my favorite scenes in anime history. Shit was INTENSE, and I, for some reason, had no clue she was the female titan. I honestly was SHOCKED that it was her. Shit threw me for such a fucking loop
The whole scene was intense and when Annie started to laugh i was so done (in a good way)
For those who haven't seen Jojos, Golden Wind is PEAK and choosing Hunter exams over Golden Wind is CRAZY, I'm with Ben (I've seen over 500 animes, and HxH is my No.1 fav anime). For reference and understanding purposes for those who haven't seen Jojo's, its like choosing the Hunter Exams arc over Yorknew Arc...

What are you talking about right now? The pain fight shouldn’t have even made it into top 10 that art barely had any choreographed fights except for Jeriah versus Payne when Naruto fought pain. It was a whole bunch of getting whooped and throwing rocks and attack at enemy it’s not like the fourth grade ninja war where they quite literally had two different choreographed fights Obito, Kakashi Naruto versus Sasuke, but I personally don’t think that any of these arks pass the sell saga or the namke saga

After the anime they watched from recent times. It wont hold up anymore. I remember watching and being hooked and telling my friends to watch it back in the day. Rewatching it from reaction channels made me realize how much filler and slow pacing there is. It just doesnt hold up, comes off very low tier.

Yeah that was all I needed to see to know these guys have no idea what they're on about. Like bruh... it's the most critically acclaimed manga ever written, it's not some niche thing. It is baffling to me that they haven't read it. I personally think the entirety of Berserk's Golden Age arc is the most well written fiction out there, not just in the bounds of manga/anime. I adore it.

It sucks they're not familiar with Berserk, it's truly one of the greatest stories ever told especially the Golden Age up to the Eclipse. I suppose since they're mostly anime watchers and Berserk has gotten hoed on having a good anime adaptation, but they should read it at some point especially if they value great writing.
