I love watching stuff like this, for some of us we aren’t fortunate enough to travel like you do. Thank you for sharing these things that nobody would know about if there wasn’t people like you Luke! Thanks for the great content and education as alwahs
Always love your Indonesian series Luke. Also noticed you did a different kind of style with the voiceover in this video. Very nice. Looking forward to more from you.
what a good local guide hero, dasa is a legend. just surprisingly with bloody heavy rain at the end of video. al hail luke. hope you share to us about the ceremony in next video. toraya maelo!
You are amazing, Luke! I just started watching your videos and I'm addicted to them. It's so much fun I'm sad I didn't find you earlier. 😂❤️ Can't wait for your next video!
Luke, I like the way you vlog, your friendliness with local people, keep it up Luke, you will definitely be famous in Indonesia, just like Dale Philip, many Indonesians know him.
Tedong Saleko is the most expensive and rare buffalo in Toraja; its price can reach 300 million to 1 billion rupiah. You guys can google what it looks like.
Thank you so much for another very nice video. I think these kinds of videos are the most important, to find out about the people and their habits, oh yes, the voice over is good now.❤👍👍
Definitely one of the best videos,Luke. From riding a scoot to spelunking real quick 😂 and another Good thing, you stop by to eat in a cafe. In Philippines we call it “Pagpag”. You have to drop by somewhere after visiting graves or houses with deceased loved ones. So that the spirits won’t follow you home.
Literally just finished watching the last vlog, wishing the vlog was a little longer, but then refreshing your page and seeing you’ve just uploaded another video just now.😭 Love the travel vlogs luke 👍

Wow, Luke, you have such intriguing educational exciting videos. You put Dale, Harry, Chris lewis, Max, Mac, Ali, Luke Martin to shame 😅😅 Keep it up pal!
Hi! Your videos are really awesome - and this is one of the best. A rare insight in Indonesian culture. However, it would be really cool if you tested the Kretek cigarettes in a video. Cigarette diplomacy is also a part of traveling!
Luke! you are amazing bro! Crawling in that cave takes a hell amount of courage. Was anxious watching you crawl haha great video and content really spontaneous yet informative!
Dealing on that rocky offroad is crazy funny man! 😁 surprised that motobike get thru haha! Overall it's a good vlog from Luke, watching from Philippines.
Finally you speak more bahasa.. You know "berapa" now.. it will be easier for you to talk to the locals..hope you enjoy Sulawesi.. 😁👍 Love from Jakarta..♥️
Be careful luke .. when on the road using a motorbike, because in Indonesia there are still many reckless motorbike riders, and you may need to buy your camera needs such as a breket holder phone, so you can ride a motorbike normally.
hello bro luke, let's go to Pekalongan, Central Java, here there are lots of beautiful tourist attractions that are interesting to visit, especially Dieng Wonosobo, we usually call it the land above the clouds, I hope my comment will be read by bro Luke.🤲
hey luc, theres lots of places you didnt visit in erbil (hawler) kurdistan/iraq like theme parks such as family moll or places like erbil iskaan, i was wondering if you wanted to revisit at a time like this as well with the incredible heat. lmk asap if you ever go ❤
Sulawesi has many crazy places, Toraja is from South Sulawesi province, and up in the North Sulawesi province they have crazy market that sells animals like snake bat cat dog to eat. But other island of Indonesia, Papua which is the 2nd largest island in the world has tribes that eat human🤠 (CMIIW)

That guide was really good, you can tell that he really cares about the culture and people.

@@arxyma looks like normal animal to me, whats rare?
It's not easy to find that type of buffalo @@Gymson
Even If a male "saleko buffalo" with a female "saleko buffalo", the baby buffalo will not necessarily come out as a "saleko" too.

In Bali they have big ceremony for funeral called Ngaben and it's expensive, but in Toraja, their funeral ceremony more expensive and longer.
Interesting, I've never heard of that one
But I don't think ngaben is open for public no?
@@LukeDamant Ngaben is cremation (burning corpses), most Hindus did that, in Bali it is called Ngaben
@LukeDamant I wish someone would've told you it's respectful if you bring a gift as a peace offering bro u really need to go back
