This is terrible! Reminds me of the old news anchors asking, “it’s 10pm, do you know where your children are?” Except, they need to ask any time during the day or night now. I know where mine are. They ask me why I have to track their phones. I don’t stalk them but I need some bread crumbs and to remind them, when they leave home, they represent me. Some of these kids are special and you see why when you meet their parents. My son can’t just go off with kids. I need to know their friends and their parents. I’ve worked too hard raising my kids. This divorced parent of three didn’t play with her kids. Two are now working and degreed adults. I kept in contact with my kids even though I commuted 100 miles a day to work. They knew not to let the school or police call me. It was going to be hell to pay when I got to them. Don’t make any sense how apathetic and entitled some of these kids are today. Kids aren’t being taught social and life skills at home. God rest this poor soul’s spirit. Condolences and prayers to her family and community.😢🙏🏾

I don't know if that is factual. Growing up in the 90s my friends and I listened to NWA, Too Short, 2 Live Crew and more. We never treated women with disrespect, never did or sold drugs in fact we never committed any crime. It was just rap with a nice beat. Never ever wanted to mimic any of their behavior. I think this issue is bigger than the music.
I couldn't agree with you more. Back in the early 90s the elders were trying to stop the record companies from producing "the devil's music." Now a lot of young parents listen "that" music (heavy metal, rap, etc) around their children, and I believe that's why so many kids are messed up in the head. I don't know if that is factual. Growing up in the 90s my friends and I listened to NWA, Too Short, 2 Live Crew and more. We never treated women with disrespect, never did or sold drugs in fact we never committed any crime. It was just rap with a nice beat. Never ever wanted to mimic any of their behavior. I think this issue is bigger than the music.
I couldn't agree with you more. Back in the early 90s the elders were trying to stop the record companies from producing "the devil's music." Now a lot of young parents listen "that" music (heavy metal, rap, etc) around their children, and I believe that's why so many kids are messed up in the head. The music is not going to influence ALL listeners to commit acts of violence, but it does cause some individuals to do bad things. The few that are not strong enough to not let the music take over, cause many a lot of pain.
