I love the thumbnail of this video, and how there is 8 of the same image with zero differences at all
The Xbox and GameCube versions both run at 60 FPS, while the PS2 version and, for some reason, the PC port, are capped at 30 FPS. When it comes down to a comparison between the Xbox and GameCube, both versions are equally as smooth. However, the Xbox version has sharper character shadows as well as slightly better textures and it also benefits from a more dynamic sound, thanks to its Dolby Digital support.
I know the GameCube version supports Dolby Pro Logic II, which sounds like 5.0 after being decoded by an AV receiver. Is the Xbox version true 5.1 through the optical output?
@@S-Video Normally games that support Dolby Digital are 5.1 so yes it does output at 5.1

Extraño esa época de juegos licenciados basados en películas. Obviamente no eran la gran cosa pero yo de niño los disfrutaba, sentís bastante genial que una película que me gustaba tuviera su propio videojuego y así tenía más diversión con las cisas de las películas que tanto me gustaban

Was one of my first ps2 games along with Ratchet and Clank (you can guess already which got more playtime lol) back in 2005. I barely remember the movie, let alone this game but iT's still a bit nostalgic. Weird running into a new video like this.

Very impressive for being a movie license game and sixth gen hardware. The backgrounds and characters almost had the detail from the movie.
Why I am watching this at 6am? Idk. But it's interesting and I loved the movie as a kid. Never played the game adaption though.

I played on the PC back when the game came out and I bought from my schools book fair, and as a kid, it had such weird controls, loved it so much. I know I have the disk some where.
I think Gamecube is most balanced hardware of that console generation.
While Xbox is pushing resolution and image quality to boundaries the frame rate is often not so stable. PS2 however have worst image quality and cant hold 30 fps.
And Gamecube is in the middle of it: good resolution and texture quality and higher and most stable frame rate.
Not quite, the Xbox one runs at 60 fps since of its powerful hardware.

I remember a family friend gave me their GameCube, and this was one of the games that came with it. I still remember when I got stuck at the area with all the fans blowing, I was 4 or 5 at the time. Unfortunately I had to give that copy back. Got rid of the GameCube, and never saw that copy again..oh well

I played the DS version. Actually quite fun except the depth perception and hitboxes aren't that great, ESPECIALLY the ziplines. You have to be in a pixel-perfect spot AND have to be facing the direction it takes you in order to actually get them to work. The invention screen is also very clunky and slow. It's kinda like they didn't have a sense of flexibility with this game's development... most moves you make have to be precise.
And don't get me started on the transit challenges using touchscreen controls... I fucking hated those. Honestly thinking the GBA version is better with controls while the DS version has slightly better graphics. I think I've only managed to pass one of those.
Soundtrack is kickass, I love it. Ian Stocker is a great composer. Also, I like the gallery... it has some references to what seem like deleted or early scenes, like the pigeon lady with rodney in the transit ball. More people should check out the DS version since it doesn't seem to get a lot of attention (kinda see why) but it's kinda fun to play. Overall a clunky experience but fun to play if you have time to kill. I loved the movie as a kid. I haven't really played the home console versions a whole lot, I did play some parts of the GCN version but I did not finish it.

Wow this game is a throw back, I played on the 360 back in 2007 when my mom got me my first 360 for my 8th birthday, mainly halo 3 once we finally got internet and Xbox live in 2010, we had " internet " but we had to get faster plus xbox live gold, those were the days I tell ypu

See the character animations of the entire body while stationary and playing, today developers just stopped doing that like in dead space remake Isaac moves and reacts so stiffly and his gun handling is absolute trash.

After homebrewing an Xbox 360, you can remove the backcompat whitelist so the console will try to run every Xbox game (with mixed results).

Does the 360 versión actually exists or it was backwards compatible?
At 0:27 it says "Backwards compatibility" in the top left. There is no Xbox 360 specific version of Robots to my knowledge.

If it isn't expensive, i'm gonna find that DS game, then melt and cut it into several small pieces, then stick it in soup and feed it to pigs. The game didn't do anything, just thought it would be funny.
