    This is actually one of the few motorcycle videos I've watched to the end . The rider is obviously skilled, truly knows his bike and knows how to ride it properly. The video editing is well done. I really like the shot where the knee is dragging and the hand is in the background. The music score is perfect. Well done all the way around!

      Just bought a 2017 and came from riding a 600cc because I lack the skillz to ride it right! The 300cc is more than enough bike for most people! I don't have the ballz to lean like this! But I feel more confident.

    how did he lean so damn low? and the wheel size for the front and rear is just 110/17 and 140/17. he got a lot of skills. I'm so impressed.

    So many people say I'm crazy being a biker or just a stupid rebel or they just don't get it. Maybe I am those things but this video encapsulates everything that it means to be a biker for me. The freedom, movement, technique, wind in your face, nothing you can get driving a car. NOTHING!

    • @gabes2095
      @gabes2095 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      +nVr Yeah, I own one of these but I haven't come close to riding like this. I ride mine like a cruiser. I am a beginner, after all. It's nice to see what she is capable of in the right hands, though. I am a risk-taker by nature, but only calculated and/or educated risks. So, I can't justify going out on the road and being reckless to become a better rider. So, that leaves me wondering what path this guy followed to reach the level of skill that he has.

    • @yamaha426rider
      @yamaha426rider 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sneaky Beaky exactly I got chills reading this I love to ride...I also ride faster than others consider safe on the road but I can't help myself just the adrenaline and feeling it gives me is amazing..one thing I do is ride fast but stay in control ill save the crazy riding for when I get a track bike👌

    I was always on the fence between a ninja 300 or a bigger bike like the fz-07, but after watching this video and realizing I'm only 5'4. I think i'm going to get the ninja 300, you look amazing riding that bike and having so much fun.

  • @SVwindsor

    Very impressive cornering. I started on ninja 300 and Learned these skills. Now on a cbr 600 I bring those skills and improve on them. Ninja 300 is not only a beginner bike but a necessary tool to learn those hard-core skills.

    This is a great video. I've always loved smaller engine, lighter bikes (and cars) for the reason being the rider is in tune with his machine. Raw power isn't everything. People ask, why a 300 and not a 600? If they have to ask that question, they just don't get it, and that's ok. PS, I sold my 600 gsxr and buying a 300 in a few weeks.

    I bought my last week (05/08/2020) 2013/2013 Special Edition ABS. At the age of 18 I bought my first bike (Make 250 2008 Yamaha), and on the first day with the bike I rode 600Km KKK '(I'm Brazilian).
    With her I got to know several cities, waterfalls, I made friends, I learned to ride, I fell with the bike lol. Always researching and saving money for the dreamed ninja 300. As time passed, I started looking at others like MT03, R3, CB500F even the carbureted Hornet. I even had to go to the dealerships to look at the bikes, but when I got home some voice in my head kept saying: ninja 300, ninja 300, ninja 300.
    When I was at the garage table signing the papers and holding the key, I couldn't believe it. Only when I got home and saw her in the garage did the plug go down.
    I lost count of how many times I watched this video and kept imagining myself with it!
    Guys don't give up on your dreams, even in difficult times

    The small engine bikes are to this day STILL the most under-rated bikes on the road. They're just as fun as any big bike, handle better, you can use 100% of their power on the street, and they get better gas mileage. Somebody tell me a downside? I've been on all of the bikes for many years, my favorites have always been the smaller bikes... The 300 is probably the perfect bike, this is after owning two 250s, riding a 500 profusely, riding a 400, owning liter and 600s, and the 300 is the perfect bike.... perfect balance of power and handling, tame enough for new riders, peppy enough for experienced riders, but EVERY DOLLAR YOU SPENT goes to the pavement.... and i can't stress this enough... it is VERY HARD to get all of your money onto the pavement if you've got a busa or a 1000, or even a 600...... its really hard. There's AREAS in america, at least, where you CAN, but riding that fast on the street is extremely dangerous(more dangerous than most people realize) and on the smaller bikes, you have trouble getting to 120mph so it cuts out a shit-ton of the danger by proxy. Just to put this into perspective.... if you're riding straight line in somewhere like south dakota, on a 1,000cc bike, unrestricted, and say you're doing 200mph. FUN. Right? but say a person wearing bright colored clothes decides to cross the street to check their mail.... in the one house you're going to pass in half an hour. You're already not expecting a person to be standing in the middle of the road, much less, walking into your lane... by the time you see them and process what they are and where they are, you've already passed them. Now replace person with: deer. Cinder block that fell off a truck.... tree branch.... another motorcycle turning into your lane.... etc etc... there's a point where, even on a straight line with perfect visibility, that you just don't have the reaction time you think you have, and you're REALLY putting your life 100% on luck... and if its a person, or somebody's dog, or a deer, or another cyclist, you're not the only living being dying that day. If you it a person with a motorcycle going 200mph, you're both dead. And I already know there's going to be some people "won't happen to me, I see that shit/have fast reflexes/can handle surprises". No. No you can't. You just use the times you've been LUCKY BEYOND BELIEF to tell yourself that. With the smaller bikes, yes, there's still risk, yes, its still dangerous, BUT, its much less danger, much less risk, and you give yourself time to react to the dangerous situations if you're going 110-120 instead of 200-220. It is what it is. And to the people who would believe they can react fast enough to actually avoid a person standing in the road, I've got some graves of some of my riding buddies who thought just like you guys thought that I'd like to take you to see. I've been riding a long time.... When I started, there were a bunch of us.... now there's like 5, including me. So these smaller bikes are not only just as fun, but they will help keep you alive, by keeping your speed somewhat within the limits of your reaction time, which is nowhere NEAR as fast a reaction as you think.

    I have to disagree with the idea you need a larger bike (typical American attitude). You obviously have your bike set up correctly. The 10+ minute ride on the Nurburgring told the story when you passed so many cars and bikes. Unless you want to travel 250 Kph, then stay with a bike built for your riding skills. I went away from a smaller bike to a larger bike, and I stop having fun. Now I have the new Yamaha R3 and I have fun again. Let's face it America, you buy large cc bikes to impress your hooligan friends, who can't do what Murtanio does on the Ninja.

      I just got home from a long ride on my R3 and I was passing most of the traffic. I don't know what the difference is, but power is not a problem for the R3.

      I did change the tires in the first week, but now it has 383 miles and the engine screams as it accelerates. I think the 0-100kph at 5.2 is quite accurate. I pulled into a petrol station and a dude who was following me thought I was on a 600 and that's what it feels like.

      D. Paul League yeah I also have an r3 and I was easily able to go to 100mph at 6th gear just by being at 70mph to just cranking it to the max without trying to go red bars from 1st gear While I also had (sold) a 2014 ninja 300 i tried getting 100mph and I struggled with that while going red bars... R3 is the way to go for sure
