This is actually one of the few motorcycle videos I've watched to the end . The rider is obviously skilled, truly knows his bike and knows how to ride it properly. The video editing is well done. I really like the shot where the knee is dragging and the hand is in the background. The music score is perfect. Well done all the way around!
Just bought a 2017 and came from riding a 600cc because I lack the skillz to ride it right! The 300cc is more than enough bike for most people! I don't have the ballz to lean like this! But I feel more confident.
I was always on the fence between a ninja 300 or a bigger bike like the fz-07, but after watching this video and realizing I'm only 5'4. I think i'm going to get the ninja 300, you look amazing riding that bike and having so much fun.
skills... I got Yamaha r1 10 and this special edition white 14 and I love it not any less than an r1 only thing is r1 is first one and my heart belongs to her but riding ninja is much more fun 100 and eats so much less $$$
Very impressive cornering. I started on ninja 300 and Learned these skills. Now on a cbr 600 I bring those skills and improve on them. Ninja 300 is not only a beginner bike but a necessary tool to learn those hard-core skills.
So many people say I'm crazy being a biker or just a stupid rebel or they just don't get it. Maybe I am those things but this video encapsulates everything that it means to be a biker for me. The freedom, movement, technique, wind in your face, nothing you can get driving a car. NOTHING!
+nVr Yeah, I own one of these but I haven't come close to riding like this. I ride mine like a cruiser. I am a beginner, after all. It's nice to see what she is capable of in the right hands, though. I am a risk-taker by nature, but only calculated and/or educated risks. So, I can't justify going out on the road and being reckless to become a better rider. So, that leaves me wondering what path this guy followed to reach the level of skill that he has.
Sneaky Beaky exactly I got chills reading this I love to ride...I also ride faster than others consider safe on the road but I can't help myself just the adrenaline and feeling it gives me is amazing..one thing I do is ride fast but stay in control ill save the crazy riding for when I get a track bike👌
Gabe S Believe it or not he learnt by watching You Tube , he was well prepared before he even bought the Ninja , many hours of watching good riders. Saying that he Obviously took riding like a Duck to Water , the Boy has Talent
+leo lilil This was my starting bike. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. It's an excellent choice, don't feel pressured to get a bigger bike.... Fast bikes are fast in straightaways, fast riders are fast in corners.
This is a great video. I've always loved smaller engine, lighter bikes (and cars) for the reason being the rider is in tune with his machine. Raw power isn't everything. People ask, why a 300 and not a 600? If they have to ask that question, they just don't get it, and that's ok. PS, I sold my 600 gsxr and buying a 300 in a few weeks.
I bought my last week (05/08/2020) 2013/2013 Special Edition ABS. At the age of 18 I bought my first bike (Make 250 2008 Yamaha), and on the first day with the bike I rode 600Km KKK '(I'm Brazilian). With her I got to know several cities, waterfalls, I made friends, I learned to ride, I fell with the bike lol. Always researching and saving money for the dreamed ninja 300. As time passed, I started looking at others like MT03, R3, CB500F even the carbureted Hornet. I even had to go to the dealerships to look at the bikes, but when I got home some voice in my head kept saying: ninja 300, ninja 300, ninja 300. When I was at the garage table signing the papers and holding the key, I couldn't believe it. Only when I got home and saw her in the garage did the plug go down. I lost count of how many times I watched this video and kept imagining myself with it! Guys don't give up on your dreams, even in difficult times
you're doing it right, riding that well on a less powered bike (i assume due to age?).. once you move onto a more powerful bike you will be very ready for it :) great vid.
My starter bike was honda 400ccm. These "small rockets" are very good for a beginners. And it was old bike from 93. This is brand new bike, so it must be amazing to ride it. Now i have a new bike, 600 CBR, it diff. but i have good memories for these day when i rode this small one :) Anyway, good ride!
I have to disagree with the idea you need a larger bike (typical American attitude). You obviously have your bike set up correctly. The 10+ minute ride on the Nurburgring told the story when you passed so many cars and bikes. Unless you want to travel 250 Kph, then stay with a bike built for your riding skills. I went away from a smaller bike to a larger bike, and I stop having fun. Now I have the new Yamaha R3 and I have fun again. Let's face it America, you buy large cc bikes to impress your hooligan friends, who can't do what Murtanio does on the Ninja.
I just got home from a long ride on my R3 and I was passing most of the traffic. I don't know what the difference is, but power is not a problem for the R3.
I did change the tires in the first week, but now it has 383 miles and the engine screams as it accelerates. I think the 0-100kph at 5.2 is quite accurate. I pulled into a petrol station and a dude who was following me thought I was on a 600 and that's what it feels like.
D. Paul League yeah I also have an r3 and I was easily able to go to 100mph at 6th gear just by being at 70mph to just cranking it to the max without trying to go red bars from 1st gear While I also had (sold) a 2014 ninja 300 i tried getting 100mph and I struggled with that while going red bars... R3 is the way to go for sure
riding like a boss on the 300. Had no idea you could get it that low without low sliding on one. I have the 650 and can get the foot peg to touch the ground but after watching this video almost want the 300 now.
Murtanio your videos are so freaking awesome man! In a month and a half, I am going to get my first bike, and guess what, it will be a Ninja 300 too :). Keep it on, you're great and have so much potential!
KEEP RIDING :-)
The sparks flying really made me worried whether he would fall or not. I believe if the point of contact for the gravity shifts from the front and back tyre to front and his knee, it would lead to him go sliding
I own a high end custom detail shop. I'd sponsor you mate. Very good riding on your part man. Stay safe and thank you for the video's. I was unsure if I wanted the Ninja 300 or not but I'm sure now, awesome bike.
Wow the more I watch your videos the more I like my Nnja 300. It already beats my 900cc Cruiser. Just need to learn to ride half as good as you around those corners. Not into Knee dragging but I would love to do such smooth corners like that!

Yep there are guys on 300's that beat guys to their destination against 600s and 1000s. I've been riding for over a decade but got the 300 so I can actually learn to carve corners nicely. Not going to knee drag but following the same techniques to lower center of gravity.

Just bought this bike.. I can't wait until I get the license and can ride it. how long did it take you to get this done and have you had any experience before getting your license? You rode this bike so well and I want to achieve this too before I change it.
Nice video and no question that ur a skill rider... tho I watched only half of the video, I liked it. Especially d scene where d knee rubs while d hand touches d road...
. what are the best tyres for ninja 300?(considering tyre life and statability)... . what are the drawbacks of stock tyre on baby ninja?
Nice! Quick question. Did you have the chance to ride R3 as well? If yes, what's your opinion on it? I am looking to buy it but I am a bit worried about that so straight upfront seat position.
Do you think that for star a supersport route, a 300cc modern bike is better than an old 125cc 2T? I mean, a bike like Aprilia RS 125 or Mito EV are more sporty as a driving setting. Or, directly a 250 RS, that cost just like a Ninja 300.
2 Questions, great rider: Are you running 140mm wide or 150mm wide tires? And did you make make any modifications to keep the bike from dragging too early when getting that lean angle on?

this guy is WAY TOO BRAVE and WAY TOO CRAZY. MAD SKILLZ. Insane!
how did he lean so damn low? and the wheel size for the front and rear is just 110/17 and 140/17. he got a lot of skills. I'm so impressed.
Best cornering I've ever seen on Ninja 300 brother.
Keep up your good work...
Take care n ride safe....
your form is great. using legs to hug the tank and your hand grip is very relaxed, no forearm tension. countersteering always works. very very good.

Beautiful riding and video. Is the ninja upgraded?
Hey, what tyres did you use? Im surprised of how much you can lean with this bike...i thought this smaller tyres arent capable of doing that....
Awesome video. Dam iv a lot to Learn and at 46 ninja 300 will be my first bike. Hopefully I don't snap my neck.
