If I had known that the NikeLab Bruin leather sneakers had been reproduced in 2015, I would've bought a pair for myself to make an authentic Marty McFly cosplay costume.
I wonder why the sneakers that Michael J. Fox had worn of the Back to the Future films weren't given red laces instead.
The red laces would've made them look nicer.
Were colored laces unusual back them?

Look up Nike court royales for those looking for these shoes. Hard to tell if what I have or these are what he wears in the movies, but the court royales literally look identical. Picked some up in Tokyo at a sports authority liquidation for $20, and I'm sure they're less than $50 new anywhere else. Main point, they're currently being sold by Nike. Also got a pair with a black swoosh. Look incredible when the white gets dirty.

Yes, the power laces will be exciting! I'm sure they will be little out of my price range though. Always wanted a pair of the Bruins though! So please to get them. Hopefully you will get a pair too. Such an iconic shoe from BTTF! :)

Best place is Ebay I guess. They do come up from time to time. Wish Nike would just release the red swoosh Bruin shoe again, so everyone could have it! I love the blue swoosh version too. Both are cool shoes! Thanks :)

I normally wear a UK8 in Nike and that's what I bought. They feel true to size. Very comfortable.
twocanplayatthat thank you I’ve looked at some size chart comparisons and some say that 8UK is an 8.5 US but some say that an 8 UK is a 7 US are they loose fitting or do they fit snug but not tight sorry to bother I just don’t wanna buy them and be upset that I can’t wear these awesome shoes

when I was a kid after seeing the movie I was obsessed with those shoes, they gave me the imprinting Nike logo.
The thing that made those bruins damn beautiful was the proportionate and harmonic shape of the Swoosh, in this new reissue the Swoosh is so ugly and badly done, nothing to do with the original, too bad.

They are 100% genuine and purchased from the Nike store in London. These shoes were the release that was available in 2015, which was for the anniversary of Back to the Future. Have a look at Marty's shoes in the movie and you will see the NIKE writing on the heal of the shoe is missing and is all red.

@@johnz6692 Hi, no worries. I believe that the NIKE may have been painted over red for the movie, possibly due to branding issues. I believe the original shoes did have the NIKE logo on the back, but as these are the release for the anniversary in 2015, they went with the red covered up movie version :). In regards to where you can buy them, Ebay is probably best, or hopefully Nike will release the shoe again! They should! So many people want them. Have a good day.

first comes to my mind that this must be fake, it looks different from the 80s version, the tongue doesn't have the tag, and it doesn't have the white Nike brand on the back. Nike made it differently today, I like the old version.
Hi they're not fake. They were purchased from a Nike flagship store in London. :) They're meant to look like Marty's shoes from Back to the Future, that why there are differences to the original release. The Nike branding wasn't on the back of the shoes in the movie.

They are not equal to the originals of 1982 the swoosh is not equal. Nike is not the same for a while now. @

I'm wearing mine. If they sit in a box, that can also damage them. Better to wear them and enjoy them :) They look nice dirty, more Marty Mcfly looking :) Thanks for checking out the video.
Seems Nike does not understand at all that the toe section is the most important part of a sneaker in terms of reproducing a vintage model.
The proportions here are so wrong, just as being the case with all past Nike OG reissues.
Worst example is the Nike Air Jordan V OG, just not wearable due to the wrong toe section and the cheap tongue "politics", choosing new material and making it too long. My favourite shoe of all time and you killed it!
Dear Nike, dend your kids in charge to Adidas, to learn how it's done properly.

Nike store in London U.K, back in 2015. I bought them from an Ebay seller who queued outside the store for them and bought them brand new.
