AUB will be the best D front that UW faces all year. This will be a true test to see if we are CFP material, or not. Our Achilles Heel the past two years in the "big games" is our O getting stuffed, not making 3rd downs, and our D getting gassed coz the O can't move the ball. But I would rather play a REAL team, lose, and find our weaknesses, than beat the tar out of yet another cupcake. May the better team win!!! Woof!!! Go Dawgs!!!

You guys definitely have a shot, but you'll have to contend with possibly the best secondary in the country and an improved pass rush, not to mention good DT's and a sound LB core... our D only allowed 1.8 TDs per game last year, we could be just as good this year. Only difference we lost Vita Vea, but our run D should be pretty stout still. And we get maybe our best CB back from injury in Jordan Miller despite all the hype around Byron Murphy. Then you'll have to contend with an efficient Jake Browning who'll hopefully show more of his 2016 form.. And Myles Gaskin, a shifty, crafty, good runner one of the top in the country... And one pretty certain first round OT and a second possible first round OT. Anyway, it will be a great college football game, and can't wait to take on an SEC powerhouse in SEC country.

But I just really think that Washington is becoming a new real force in college football, oh the CFP: a program to reckon with. Because the way the team is built and how the system has oh been slowly but slowly, incrementally becoming. Coach Peterson has a winning perception that goes about him really. Too many SEC fans think that they are going to be facing just some run of the mill West Coast program that is running as oh mediocre as a lot of the normal Big powers like USC and UCLA and Oregon is running these days. Washington could as easily play in the SEC and win your title. There is no drop off, talking this year, between this team and any team in the nation. And I here follow both the SEC and PAC 12 closely. Washington is my favorite team over all. But Auburn is my second favorite. Washington is not going to be blown out, I guarantee that. The edge to me is in the offensive lines, between these two teams; Washington's as will be more succinct than Auburn's, and Auburn's problems there will be dealing with Washington's defensive line rush and the oh tough coverage by the Defensive Backs. Where as Washington's offensive line I feel can at least neutralize a bit of Auburn's line in that. And Jake will get easier looks at his receivers, with Auburn's DB's in experience there. Which it is about as easy as that if oh things go as well for Washington. Pluses for Auburn is that they have home field, and maybe they have the ability to overcome oh shortcomings. Or maybe Auburn has more talent and just out talents the Huskies? Which is about the only way Auburn win's this game. Otherwise if things are onto paper as they are onto the field in this. I think that Washington wins this one. It won't be a here blow out I don't think. But something enough for Washington to make a statement and say, "we are here!" and break down the oh doors. Because there really does need to be new blood in the CFP, a team or two to mess up SEC psyche. "Here we are, CFP, fuck you, SEC." I believe that Washington is as equally as talented as Auburn. I am an Auburn fan not an SEC fan. I am not a PAC 12 fan, I am a Washington fan and Washington State Cougars.

Being a life long Auburn Fan I will say this. Auburn better be prepared to play this team, we have an inexperienced Offensive Line, Runningbacks and youth in the Secondary. They have a 4 year starter at Quarterback and 7 returning starters from last years Offense and 9 on Defense, so Auburn better be ready to play on opening weekend, otherwise they will get beat and beat badly. We will also see how much Coach Double Bubble appreciates that undeserved 7 year 49 Million Dollar contract extension. If it all comes together like we think Auburn wins in a close one 24-21
If the defense starts the season well and the offense can actually score then Auburn will win. I say they’d only win because it’s the beginning of the season and Auburn tends to start slow. If it were middle of the season Auburn would clobber Washington.
