@@BobMenziesMusic This knight is definitely fantastic. Another wonderful knight is from Grand Collection Signature Series by Staunton Castle. It looks like a real horse!
A bonus point for Staunton Castle is the foam tray packaging they use, makes it both safer for the pieces to travel and storage them, so you don't need to buy a storage box for intricate designs like this one for protection.
By the way, did the weights of your American Staunton set become shaky over time? I own a plastic Dubrovnik set, but the weights make sounds when moving certain pieces, as they are no longer in place.

Great video! Did you order this set from Royal Chess Mall's website directly or through their stores on Etsy/Ebay? I see the prices are different, depending on where you look: their official website or Etsy/Ebay profile. Did you have to pay any taxes/customs/duties to your government to receive this set? Apparently Royal Chess Mall claims there usually aren't any of those to be borne by the customer. Did the whole process go smoothly, in terms of shipping, tracking and communication?
I am looking at these pieces for a long time now. I think I would get the ebony or bud rosewood version instead.
Thank you for any answers you can provide! I would consider getting a nice storage box for the pieces and a bag for the board to protect them. A suitcase with foam would be ideal.
Got them directly from Royal Chess Mall. Took a bit of time but no issues with duty or taxes or anything else. Still loving the set. Worth every penny!
@@BobMenziesMusicThanks for your answers! How are the felts on the pieces and the board holding up, did they start coming off? Are those thin felts or thicker ones? Did you weigh your board and pieces to see if there is a slight fluctuation in weight? Apparently the pieces weigh 1700 grams in total, and the board 3800 grams or so. I suppose the board is made from solid wood?

Solid wood and felt is fine. Never occurred to me to weigh them, but they certainly have a solid feel to them.@@Dario19503
