Thanks for the kind words. I apologize for not responding sooner. I'm new to having a channel on youtube and missed your message. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE!
An overlooked veteran's grave that needed a good cleaning. Now passersby can clearly read Frederick Parmelee's gravestone and show him a moments respect for his service in the 20th Connecticut Volunteer Infantry Company A.
Thank you very much. It is north facing so it will get some growth and filth back on it in a few years. I'll be back then to clean it once more! Thanks for the kind words
@@TheCreativeCurrentYT - the stone cleaning solution will actually kill the moss on the stone and remove some staining in the stone. Sadly this takes time for it to work as it uses mother nature's help, sometimes months to see its full effect.
@@strawberrybaby3388 take a look at some of my later videos which I revisit them after a few months. Itt takes the chemical that long to kill off the gunk.....the results are Amazing
Hello Mary Jo, I am located in Connecticut. You have a very keen eye! Thank you I will start adding in site information (and personal info about the grave resident) in my next videos. I just started this channel so Im new to all of this. Do you think I should do this with audio or with text on screen? Thanks for the comment and I wish you a happy holiday season.
@@masspunk1983 thanks for the feedback and more importantly thank you for your service. I will be uploading some new videos this week and will use the text in it. Happy New Year
What do you mean? The goal is not to make it look like new. Simply to remove the vegetation and film and let is shine again and have it be more visible. These are old stones.
As a veteran this is beautiful and wonderful. Keep up the amazing work ☺️☺️

It looks great. It will look like new in about three months. It’s incredible how they are transformed. Thank you for honoring him!

Why would it look new in 3 months? I don't understand

I would do a text on the screen or in the description. Some people like me enjoy ASMR and the natural wouldn’t without talking.

@Felicity Sheehan I'm the same way. Maybe a little text on the screen but I find the naturals sounds relaxing
How would you know where he was based on the video?
Neat
Thanks, I just posted another video. And another will be out tomorrow.
He died on the same day as my birthday but in a different year
if this video is like that other one , they won't show the stone cleaned up

Read the first comment. Sometimes it takes a month or more until the stone is brighter
I am sure the family is very grateful.
I am sure they are. It looks much better for years to come. thanks for stopping by
I’d like to do in my local cemetery. I’d like to know what chemicals you use?
You do a fantastic job. 👏
Thanks! It's 10 percent me and 90 percent the tools and products I use
@@odditylockerit's most definitely something I think I need to try.
@@spitfirekev go for it!
hello, could I please ask what solution do you use to clean the headstone, thank you
I use D2 and wet and forget
👍
❤
It is too bad that a pressure washer would destroy these. It is fast, but not good for every surface.
Yes it's very destructive to old stones and cause irreversible damage. Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to comment.
I was born in 1994
Don’t be offended but if you use water first then the cleaning solution, you will notice you use much less cleaning solution.
I dilute the wet and forget double of what is recommended
