Very concise and detailed . thanks!
THANK YOU …….
Very light oils in the video, i'm using 300k in front for my son's rallycross xv01, other guys 30k or more. Last week went rallying dirt/tarmac on rallycross setup and it was manageable (second place). Very thick front diff gives you that limited slip diff feeling, it works great on xv01, front wheels will always pull you out of the corner.
In Rc Rally it's better to have a low gradation due to the type of the courses, narrow and slippery
Stage RC rally is much slower and tighter, it's preferable to have more off-power steering, which is achievable with loser diffs. For fast, high grip conditions, thicker diff is better, but that's not very common.
Locking them is only thing to do
On my XV-02 I currently have 12,500 in the front and 5,000 in the rear differential, as well as 40,000 in the center differential. In addition, I use the overdrive setup (39 in the front and 40 in the rear).
In my During service there is always a thin layer of Asso Green Slime for the Seals, including for the O-rings. By the way, which FDR are you currently driving with the 10.5T brushless Motor?
I hope I'll be able to race against you one day, you take care well of your model. If I remember correctly 8.1
@@dariorcgarage As already written in the last video, you can come to the RC Rallye Blankenburg on August 3rd and 4th. It's quite a journey from Poland, but there are two days of rallying with an evening and night special stage on Saturday.
Is there any difference between using grease and oil in diferencial?
They are two completely different things.
The viscosity of the oil helps you to tune the differential. Grease is used mostly in non sealed differentials that can not use oil
