It's too bad that more people don'[t have open minds & love to have fun. If they did, they'd find that they love this band & their music. They always make me feel like getting up & dancing around.
Love it. We all owe Austin City Limits soooooo much. This is another of the hundreds of outstanding performances we have been given. Thanks from the bottom of my heart.
well its a guild, i can tell that much... i really dont know wich model it is... its probably an old model cause new models have a cutaway, this one, doesnt have it...
Francisco Bruzzi I believe he's playing the Guild X-50. The T-50 had a bit more detail in the headstock. It does look like the neck has had a reset, which is given away be the ruined finished where the neck meets the body. These early sf-1 pickups were a very typical early American electric signature sound. They're kind of low output so they work well with almost any amp and pedal configuration you can dream up. Funny you should ask this question. Tonight I'm actually working on a Guild Starfire5 v.1975. Love the old Guild stuff. I grew up not far from the RI factory. Of course now like everything else. It's owned by others. What's that you say?.....fender?.....you're right...Fender owns Guild now....But to Fender's credit, they brought in Bob Benedetto to help redesign the Archtop lines, and they are very big on reissuing the Starfire lines! That's good..AND they are still made by Americans. At least for now????!!!!! Thanks for asking....Greg [Guild guitar guy]
One of my all-time favorites! If this song does not stir your soul, check for a pulse.

It's either a Guild T50 or X50 from the early 1960s.
