- Meet Jan. We were just neighbors at a 4-day women's meetup in Florida. I hope you appreciate her multi-faceted nature as I did. She’s a wonderful combination of a friendly, warm and courageous woman, minimalist, adventurer and helpful Christian spreading good.
Her no-build van is simple, but she brings everything she needs.
I love how she travels with a mountain bike and a folding kayak. I hope to see her again somewhere down the road.
Jan is a beautiful Soul Thank you so much Natalie For Making these adventures possible for us that are not in attendance and wanting to travel but not there yet,Thank you Sending Love ❤️ Peace and Blessings God Bless You
You found your niche … getting to know interesting women through thoughtful conversation & active listening, THEN their travel set-up. And kudos to Jan for honoring who she is and what interests her.
Jan is the kind of person I'd like to meet on the road. What a precious lady.
Totally agree. Precious.
I don’t even know your name but I joined your channel because you are so kind. Be blessed.
Very good. She enjoys her solitude as well as being around others. God bless her!!
I LOVE Jan! Thanks for introducing her to us.
Right? That's how I am too, but I think she radiates peace.
So glad you love her too Michelle!
I’ve really enjoyed your interviews. They’ve been great sources of inspiration and information. Love how different they were. Good job and thank you. 🙏🏻
Heidi, I’m so so glad to hear that you enjoyed both of those interviews with such different women. I feel blessed with this opportunity to meet and interview and showcase these courageous, inspiring and adventurous women.
Tour starts at 15:20 😮
Jan is such an inspiration! It’s wonderful that she enjoys, and is capable of biking, hiking, and kayaking on her own. I liked doing those things with my husband, but now that I’m a widow, I find that I’m afraid to do things. I’m still going to try part time van life and camping, though. You both inspire me! Thank you for sharing!❤
Gracie, I feel so happy knowing that we have both inspired you.
I find that many things are much more scary when thinking about them then they are when actually doing them.
Even so, I was scared on my first night out with Poppy and that’s why I stayed in a paid state Park campground.
But that’s all it took for me. After that I felt fine camping on federal land or in truckstop parking lots.
Of course, I still am careful and listen to my intuition about whether to stay someplace or not.
I just love growing with your channel. Your videos keep getting better.
Joellynparks7805, you've just made my day. 🧡🧡🧡
Lovely van have great journeys.
Thank you so much!
Great interview with Jan! 😊
thank you!
I enjoyed this interview. When our 4 kids were younger my husband and I took them traveling around Australia for 2 years and we lived in the caravan for 3. As Christians like Jan following Gods leading in helping people. We as a family experienced so many diverse activities from restumping shearing shed in the outback, helping someone nail down a roof or clean up a recluse’s very messy yard. It gave so much purpose to our travels. And we met the most incredible people. Now as we have grown kids and looking at being empty nesters I think we really long to hit the road again and live the way Jan is living.
Also Natalie you are fast becoming the female version of Bobs interviews on RVCheap. Good job.. I think you have found your retirement vocation.
I absolutely love hearing this. I got goose bumps all over imagining Jan, you, (me?) and who knows how many others traveling the world with this purpose to your travels.
Interesting lady..Thank you for sharing and video. Blessings to you.
Thank you Gail!
Nice lady, nice rig.
