This would be safe for Zambia, diplomatically and also for president Hichilema, personally. Zimbabwe has pursued ,aggressive and frugal international politics, ever since its independence.
We know who is speaking, the voice of USA. The Afrcom military base to be hosted by Hichilema government when us in Botswana we refused it. Wherever USA start putting their nose on the world we know that that region will never find peace and hichilema had just brought the enemy to the region.
He is a danger to his people! Watch this space! The summit goes on with or with him!

Why not attend and raise issues there? Not a very wise decision. Attending in protest would be the way to go and respect the peoples of the whole of SADC region and could be solidarity with the people of Zimbabwe many of whom support HH.
