Obsession better TBH,
Not much effort gone into this, basically just stuck a barrel mirror onto an existing unit and moved the bracket. Couldn't even be bothered to make it look nice, like the Eliminator Vortex for example. I'm guessing Equinox will follow suit and do this with the Helix XP. Will you be road testing the QSC KC12's, we need to know if the specs are too good to be true. 🥳
not a great comparison to the Vortex, that has a fixed colour gobo wheel. This has both a seperate colour AND gobo wheel with rotating gobos. Not to mention the 115w led in this compared to the (imo not so bright) 80w led in the vortex. and both roughly around the same price.
@@djtechsane I only compared it to the Vortex in terms of looks. The vortex looks great, but this thing is fugly.
Bit of a faux pas with the power connectors lol… totally can’t wire it in with the bracket down like that 😅
Does seem to be in an obstructed location, at least for the link out. Though there are limits to where you can locate this because of the optical path in this fixture. Would also prefer to see a locking power connector.

My idea ;-) It would be nice to control at least the color en dimmer. The same would be nice @ the Hurricane
