Am always thankful for Kamaru. This is a portal of Gikuyu culture and History. I can actually relate this with the faint memories I have of my great grandmother and the way life was back then. Original Tetu from Nyeri representing.
They live. They are imortilized through athuri a kiama kia ma. Knock and the doors will open. Thaaii, thathaiya Ngai thai. Thaaii thathaiya Ngai thai, thaai thaiya Ngai thai.
Lawrence Nduru wa Gathoni na Waweru. A kikuyu musician who was born in 1940 in Ndeiya. He died in 1986. His most popular song which earned him an invite by the late Mzee Jomo Kenyatta was ndaciariiruo gwitu Ndeiya. He is also did songs on our culture like uthoni wa mugikuyu part 1&2 and unity songs like GEMA FC. It seems they were great friends with Kamaru, Ndichu, Rugwiti and others.
