Sonic Utopia is an experiment that not only tries to expand on Sonic gameplay in an intuitive way in 3D, but also aims to capture the best of Sonic's style and tie it together in a cohesive experience. Nearly everything in this demo, from art to sound to the gameplay engine, was made from scratch. I created all of the models, animation, and most of the textures and sound, as well as the music. The 3D Sonic engine and the gameplay driving this vision was created by my programmer fellow Murasaki. We've been working together on this for a while and we're glad to finally share it, with a debut at SAGE 2016.

the controls (according to the version i have) are wasd to move, space to jump, enter to pause, left mouse to crouch (when crouching and hit space a bunch you should be able to do a spin dash), right mouse is the super peelout, and if you hit middle mouse that toggles the camera control and when you control the camera with the mouse it actually controls sonics direction so you just have to hold down the forward button and move the camera. The controls also show an xbox controller and i haven't tried to play the game with a controller so i have no clue if you need an xbox controller specifically or if you can use any controller, but the controls say the left stick is to move, right stick camera, A to jump, it says B to do the peelout but since its just pointing vaguely there in the controls image it may be the right trigger, to crouch is also part of the right triggers (so if you do get a controller to work should probably test that those two out to see which is which), and the start button to pause. hopefully this helps.

I figured out how to peak in speed. Find a steep slope, peel out towards it and as you go down the slope, begin to roll, as that makes it easier to gain momentum.
I wish I could play this but I don't have a keyboard awwww :( also keep it up u do amazing at these vids (u should have the diamond play button)
It has potentail, but I think it needs more to fill the map or just smaller maps. Also, maybe change the physics, just a bit.
