- Watch Dogs (stylized as WATCH_DOGS) is an open world action-adventure video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. It was released on 27 May 2014 for Microsoft Windows, the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, with a Wii U version planned for release in the fourth quarter of 2014. Set within a fictionalized version of Chicago, Illinois, the single-player story follows a hacker and his efforts to seek revenge after the accidental death of his niece. The open world design lets players freely roam Chicago, which includes the urban city, open countryside and slums.

The chases and shootouts in this game are brilliant.
Yeap, many would say the shooting in GTA 5 is more satisfying, but for me the game was made to be that way that is kinda boring after playing so many times. The cops in GTA 5 is like an movement target from shooting range, also shooting is not that hard cuz the bullets don't spread that much because of the aim assist so its noobfriendly at all...

one of things I hate about watch dogs, is if your chasing someone and they shoot at you someone will call the cops, and then the cops start shooting at you.

A few years back, I was playing this game on my friend’s PS4 and I had an hour and a half shootout with the cops.
I holed myself up on a box truck in an alley and just kept going.
This just in: Mass Shootout at Millennium Park in Downtown Chicago. 60 civilians fatally wounded. 20 of them died on the scene. 120 police officers fatally wounded, and about 112 of them were killed. All orchestrated by only one single man known only as the Vigilante. This Is by far the worst tragedy in US History since the Boston Bombing and 9/11. That was epic! The cops are brutal, but easy to get away from. I usually just jack a car, drive it into the water, swim like mad, and hide underneath a movable bridge that has no access to foot and car traffic. If a chopper comes, just swim around the base of the bridge to avoid the spotlight and wait it out a little.

I really like the police in this game , it`n not to smart but not hard like in Gta 5 , i did a 30 min shootout with the police , with some epic kills but right at the end i died :D , it`s hard to escape

This game is the shit. All the things you can hack to your own advantage. Such a genius game. Although, the story was real short, in my opinion. Getting away from the cops is hard. I usually fight to the death or find somewhere to hide, haha.
Blackouts were fun
I did that with motor bikes and jump off and detonate them.
If you actually want an easy way to get away, trains work well if you have the hack. Failing at that, you can drive on tracks or steal a boat. Only things that can follow you through that are helis.

I do a killing spree at the construction site at the building where you start in the game. You may be exposed to the chopper, but you have better range when they try to climb up the stairs.

The farther right it is the news channel is less likely to report about you, although rare the news will randomly report about you allowing anybody who sees you to call the police later in the game

Ed, what settings are you using? Game seems to run so smoothly. I can barely get 40 fps with my 7950 3g on ultra, also massive drops even on high, it's unplayable. They say it's baddly optimized for AMD, but yours runs amazing. Thank you.
i get some frame drops to , you can try to play on 1600x900 , see if you get a better frame rate

Kunal Amladi No, the first weapon you get is a Px4 (which you don't get ammo for until you get the silenced pistol) And you get the silenced one when you go to sleep for the first time, which is like 5 minutes into the game, so actually the silenced pistol is your first weapon kinda
