This is awesome. I like when he says “ We’re a Rock band made up of christians”. I’ve always liked Stryper and I never think any less of them because of their lyrics and being a Metal band. Their song “Honestly” is one of the best rock ballads from the 80’s and even though it’s clear what the message is and who he’s singing about, The words can apply to friendship or a romantic relationship. It’s just an awesome song. Plus Michael’s voice was and still is amazing.
This was awesome! Michael is seriously one of the sweetest dudes out there, and incredibly talented. And Alex just smokes..Great memories with these 2 bands :)
This is very cool! Been a big Stryper fan since the beginning. Never listened to Testament, but Alex seems like a cool guy, maybe I'll check them out...
Alex seems very cool, but you can tell in both clips 1 & 2 he very subtly does not want to identify himself as on the side of the light. I think Michael on the other hand, would be more than happy to share his Christianity, but knows it'll get slapped down if he tries, so why waste his time.
Cool stuff. Im a fan of both bands and its awesome to see thrash and glam artists getting together and just chatting and having a friendly conversation.
Being an avid fan of both 80's thrash and glam I'd love to see more videos like this since the beginning, and even today on the oh so open minded internet, there still seems to be this weird divide between the two genres
Stryper had the best kick drum and great raw metal guitar tone, Soldiers Under Command. Testament has a great sound of there own. Return to Serenity, excellent. Michael has a great voice for metal. I'd give my left nut to have his guitar skills and a voice like his.
I was/an a big fan of Stryper and Testament. Sweet is an incredible Guitarist as well as singer. He and Oz were a great team. I never saw them as a glam band. Their music was way to heavy. I always thought they got a bad rap by both Metal fans and Christians. They were accused by the Christians of using “God” as a gimmick to sell albums. This was the 80’s, the idea of a Christian Metal band was unthinkable. Being a Christian Metal band was sort of an oxymoron. These guys got beat up by both Metal fans and Christians alike! I give them credit, they succeeded regardless of the preachers and the discounting of some metal fans. You know why they did? Talent, It was because they were great! They kicked ass both in the studio and live. Every Christian rock band and music station that plays Christian rock owe these guys a debt of gratitude. And to the metal heads that didn’t listen to them because of the message they sent lost and are still losing out on really great music.
Yeah, but Glen is an edgelord whose entire image is being anti-christian. I'd like to think King would would be respectful, since Sweet and Bachman are better guitarists, and fans might not appreciate disrespect towards other bands they like.
I am sensing that both of these men are giving reserved interviews here. It's as if neither is trying to get too excited or offend the other. Almost as if they both would have personally breathed a sigh of relief afterwards. Socially this interview is almost cringing in an odd way. Side note, Love Stryper!
Getting older, no more "balls and ego" between a lot of the bands from the 80's. Older = Wiser, lol. Good to see these guys talking like men. You can actually see the respect they have for each other, which is just awesome.
I like these interchanges, everyone is respectful about the other person in another band. Religious crap aside, Stryper was a kick ass band, I still play "Against the Law" a lot, it is a great sounding album.
Slayer and Stryper , Testament are my favorite bands , Alex is a killer guitarist, Michael Sweet is a killer guitar player , Both are shredders from the 80’s, It’s great seeing Stryper getting props and their musical freedom has come a long way!
@Patrick Fitzsimmons does he ? When was the last time he saved someone ? I'm 45 years old Grew up listening to stryper NEVER, IN MY ENTIRE LIFE HAVE I EVER SEEN JESUS SAVE SOMEONE heard many people say it found out they were all full of shit found out that's what they prefer to believe but, never actually seen jesus save someone so.. when was the last time you saw him save someone can't be that often, if ever... right ? so.. what compells you to say "Jesus Saves"
Dakky you know what mate... Life and people never cease to amaze me Just the fact that - I can be calm - ask a simple question and you interpret it as ... Me being stressed, is just fucking amazing and another thing - patrick was the one that said "Jesus Saves" - I mean , if said "Sharks Kill" you wouldn't question it.. right ? you KNOW IT TO BE TRUE, because it's been seen and noted down as fact if i said "drinking tea is calming" you also know this to be true but if i was to say something like (lets take a snippet from the vegetarian philosophy, shall we), if i was to say "tigers are vegetarians" and someone was to blindly accept that, they'd be stupid , right ? this is not about being stressed, AND I'M NOT, for the record this is about common fucking sense it's also about, I JUST MADE A COMMENT IN REPLY TO HIS COMMENT he said "Jesus Saves" i replied "when was the last time you saw him save someone" A SEEMINGLY FAIR COMMENT don't you think ? and you then replied with "Martin, you need to chill out" LOL i cannot explain how stupid your comment is it would like if you said to me "Martin, can i have the time" and i said "woah woah, ok, dude, you need to chill the fuck down" LOL MATE, WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT it was a question and i could pose the same question to you WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME THAT ANYONE SAW JESUS SAVE ANYONE simple question nothing to get upset about, Just a question so.. FEEL FREE TO ANSWER IT
@@martinkuliza When a Christian says "Jesus saves" they mean it for the persons soul. When you die you go to either Heaven or Hell. If you ask Jesus to be your saviour and believe that, then He will take you to Heaven. If you don't then you go to Hell. A person has 2 parts, the physical body and the soul. I am sure that you have seen someone's funeral. That is the physical body's death. What happens to the soul? It goes to Heaven or Hell. As a nurse and dealing with dying on a very often basis, I see what happens. A Christian usually dies with a smile on their face. A nonchristian doesn't. I have seen this since 1977. Sad but true. I have been told not to be sad because Jesus and the angels are coming to take me from children. Now haw can I argue with these precious children that are reaching up their hands when they die.
@@arlenebowers326 Hello Arlene Arlene, Normally i would address you as a standard christian person BUT LET ME ADDRESS YOU IN A SOMEWHAT SPECIAL WAY because i think it's warranted. 1. SO... YOU'RE A NURSE hmmm , ok I used to be a Paramedic, a friend of mine was a Nurse in Sydney..(Emergency) she moved to the gold coast and is still a nurse Firstly.... thank you for what you do as most people don't appreciate it and i think more people should. Secondly, in light of what you've seen, AND I DO UNDERSTAND and i have seen my fair share of fatalities prior to my medical work and i was then also exposed to people and caring for them and watching them pass...... and it's sad, and after a while you try to be a little cold towards it at one point i was doing NEPT (Patient Transportation - Aged Homes to Hospital and Back) Arlene, i can completely understand WHY YOU PERSONALLY feel there is a god. when people see enough shit they need to make sense of it.... God makes sense of it. as for JESUS SAVES (just quickly), i know what it means, i wanted to be a priest when i was younger and there was a time when i wholeheartedly believed in christ later i wanted to help people.. hence Paramedical these days i'm an Engineer, i still help people and always will, i just help them in a different way QUICK STORY that you will relate to at times i install Satellite TV , at this particular one i was installing it for a serbian man (my background is also serbian) his son got me to do the job , and he loved his Serbian Channels, specifically one, called RTS TV anyway.. 3 days later (i think it was) , his son calls me up and (he's in tears) and say's "Martin, my father passed away today, we found him this morning, Remote control in hand and the tv has RTS going, he died watching his favourite show and HE HAD A BIG SMILE ON HIS FACE" hehe Now.. i did cry a little , i'll be honest, because to give that man (approx age. 90ish) happiness in his last days... mate, that's beyond words and payment now.. back to what i wanted to say Fact is (sorry to say) jesus doesn't save, never has we just prefer to believe that he did and those people that you speak about, mate, LET'S BE CLEAR.... THEY SMILE BECAUSE OF THE KINDNESS YOU GIVE THEM BEFORE THEY PASS, OK let there be no bullshit about it Nurse's are fucking saints as are medic's and doctors and all medical staff. but specifically the staff that work directly with public we give of ourselves, BUT WHAT DO WE GIVE ? we don't just give time, WE SACRIFICE OUR PSYCHOLOGICAL HEALTH for them. sometimes they appreciate it, sometimes they don't but.. you already know this , so... you get the point point is... WE ARE THE GOOD ONE'S and if people like you and me don't go to heaven , what's the point of heaven Now. believe what you will, that's completely up to you and i respect your decision. but, there is a difference between how the OP stated his statement "JESUS SAVES" and how you are saying it i mean, i can say (as an Engineer) ELECTRICITY KILLS and i can prove that as a fact he can't prove the statement JESUS SAVES and therefore should not state is as fact other inaccuracies, just for the record we are not 2 parts we are 3 parts we are not BODY and SOUL we are BODY, SOUL and SPIRIT as per the religion we HAVE A BODY WE ARE A SPIRIT while on earth WE LIVE IN A BODY of flesh WE HAVE A SOUL (or... our spirit has a soul, if you prefer) or in another way of interpretation.. Look at the spirit as the heavenly body and look at the soul as the heavenly heart, in a sense we are 3 parts but regardless, I GET WHAT YOU'RE SAYING as for being at a funeral, i've done better, i've been there many times as a person passes (you know what i mean) i've seen , at one stage there is something still there in the eyes and then a minute later THAT EMPTINESS (again.. you know what i mean) and you know .. they are gone i have dissected the subject of religion and does god exist and does jesus exist and so on for many years the conclusion i came to it this THERE ARE OPINION'S and THERE ARE FACTS people have opinion's for many reasons as to whether god or jesus exist and whether jesus saves THEY ARE JUST OPINIONS (Regardless of whether the statement is fact or not) is it a fact that jesus saves.... NO IT'S NOT but sometimes it's easier to believe that it is and in your case... I UNDERSTAND COMPLETELY (which is why i'm not responding to you like a normal christian) there are civilians , then there are staff who understand service and help and then there are soldiers (that i can't claim to understand) point being... WE GET EACH OTHER and the other readers probably won't understand completely anyway mate I have asked for gods forgiveness in the past i have asked jesus to save me NOTHING HAPPENS and you know what i get in return i get idiots who claim to understand and say bullshit like "YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE" "YOU HAVE TO HAVE AN OPEN HEART" HEHE you know what i feel like saying to those idiots "Oh.. fuck off, It's not like i haven't" and the other thing is .. you tell them you have and they dont' even listen so mate, - IT'S BEEN A PLEASURE TALKING TO YOU - AGAIN, THANKS FOR WHAT YOU DO, it's appreciate , at least by some and who knows maybe one day you'll treat me :P - but, you have your path, i have mine - at the end of the day , it comes down to faith - also one day we will be judged i can approach god with a clear heart because i know i'm a good person, as are you now, mate, if i go to hell for that, then I'VE DONE MY BEST AND I CAN'T DO ANY BETTER and if i still go to hell. WELL. what can i do ? NOTHING people like us should not go to hell so.. that's that but now you understand my point and you understand why i replied to the OP in the way that i did some people are just idiots like people who choose to attack the people that are helping them and we have religious idiots on the world as well but you are not an idiot, You're a different breed and i understand why you hold the view that you hold TAKE CARE MATE I WISH YOU WELL IN LIFE don't work too hard
Alex is such great guy I met him when Testament was touring with Amon Amarth such nice guy was willing to have a chat obviously I didnt keep him talking for to long
munsterr777 Well I wouldn't bring my guitar either if I was him lol. I love the guitar in stryper songs but I don't play guitar myself. In terms I can relate to I would say there are martial artists who are popular (everyone loves them and will argue that they are the best), and then there are martial artists that have skills and technique with such detail that the "popular" martial artists would sit and learn from them with the attention of a young student in class. This does not make the more "popular" guy bad, but sweet is not teaching alex much about guitar.
Eh... sorry ''Edward'' but Alex Snolnick is a celebrated virtuoso with a long career not only in Metal but also in Jazz, his band Testament is considered as one of the pioneers of Thrash-Metal,they're still releasing quality records and killing it live even after 30 years.Michael Sweet and Stryper were just a mediocre Hair band that capitalised on the whole ''we're Christians''-thing as a gimmick,in order to sell.
WTF? You have that backwards don't you? Testament= far better band. Stryper= pioneered religious posing! 3 worse things about stryper. They looked like bitches! (Is cross dressing a sin?) They looked more bangable than the girls at my high school back then! Did I mention they wore make-up and lipstick?
Did Stryper really play clubs w/Crue as Michael claims? I think his timing might be off. Crue had graduated from the club scene when Elektra Records signed and re-released their "Too Fast For Love" album in 1982 and I am not so sure Stryper were actively gigging then unless Michael is referring to a time where they played under the name ROXX REGIME ? The 1st Stryper came out in 1984. Crue were already established international touring force by then with a platinum album and hit single.
I think he is....if you read Stephen Pearcy's book, Sex, Drugs, Ratt & Roll: My Life in Rock, he talks about Michael and Stryper in the clubs with them.
Wow Michael sweet u look good and well I love y'alls band music I still listen to y'all I love y'all minstery and words of god I'm glad y'all don't allow alcohol or smoken or drugs y'all are clean band y'alls l Songs kept me going w god and blessed u Michael
Michael Sweet is an amazing riff maker and has an incredible sensibility for melody over those rocking riffs. Strypers music isnt for the novice musicians out there. Heady heady stuff.

Have you heard any stryper songs? They're definitely a christian rock band. It's the lyrics that make them that.
Petra had a great guitar player too.
Yeah, but they got stingy and left out God.
But if the dentist wore church robes while cleaning your teeth and spoke about Jesus the entire time it might be more accurate to use the Christian dental studio.
God is obviously man made myth...stuck to music instead of fallacious nonsense.

Their song “Honestly” is one of the best rock ballads from the 80’s and even though it’s clear what the message is and who he’s singing about, The words can apply to friendship or a romantic relationship. It’s just an awesome song. Plus Michael’s voice was and still is amazing.
The music is always the most important factor.
Love watching this! Awesome.
Awesome. God is good
This was awesome! Michael is seriously one of the sweetest dudes out there, and incredibly talented. And Alex just smokes..Great memories with these 2 bands :)
Where's oz fox when you need him !
They may not label themselves as a Christian band but I can definitely feel His presence through their music. I like what they do :)
Testaments cover of nobody's fault is probably my fav cover ever.
This is very cool! Been a big Stryper fan since the beginning. Never listened to Testament, but Alex seems like a cool guy, maybe I'll check them out...
+jonnyQuest Testament is great. Better than Anthrax in my opinion.
+Joe Roz Agree totally. Testament whould be in the Big 4. Loved Anthrax, but Alex is one of the most underated players out there.
theyre different but just as good as anthrax. i think that testament music is more like kreator etc...
Anthrax has a punk vibe while Testament is even close to Death Metal in some records.
Alex seems very cool, but you can tell in both clips 1 & 2 he very subtly does not want to identify himself as on the side of the light.
I think Michael on the other hand, would be more than happy to share his Christianity, but knows it'll get slapped down if he tries, so why waste his time.
Funny, I was at that show in Holland they are talking about. Bibles were flying over the crawd. It was a great show, they always are...
2 of my All Time Favorites, both Great musicians!
This is awesome! Alex and Michael should have jammed!!!
I want to hear more! Do another one guys! \m/
What glam singer is as talented as MS? I'm not a Christian..but ms is crazy talented
A nice couple of guys! It seems they get on like a house on fire :)
Man, these two are such great guys.
Michael Sweet could pass as Ace Frehley.
BM they both have the same voice
Just add make-up, a space-ace uniform (with 8-inch platform boots!), and PRESTO! Michael Frehley!!!😁😁😁😁😁
SO SHWEEEETTT...much love Tee with LIONS NAMED LEO.[the music worldwide}
...great talk!!!
Stryper had the best kick drum and great raw metal guitar tone, Soldiers Under Command. Testament has a great sound of there own. Return to Serenity, excellent. Michael has a great voice for metal. I'd give my left nut to have his guitar skills and a voice like his.
Stryper rocks very hard these days they are great
I saw them in Nashville a week ago. Man, those guys can play…
Love the tone & tuning Alex uses on that cover of "Dragon Attack"... 👌🏻💣🤘🏻
I dig them both.
2 badass guitar Gods with mutual respect for one another.
God bless you Michael Sweet 🙏 today when I was at church I gave my guitar to a lowboy is a Jackson mini guitar ✝️✝️✝️✝️
Stryper rocks !
Thanks for your love and support indeed you are a true fan of my music God bless you. You can write me on Michaelsweet1212@gmail.com
This is so cool!!!
Great interview
Should've been Michael Sweet and Kerry King.
OMG that would be a crazy conversation. We could only hope that Kerry would keep it civil!
Yeah right, if Glen could not stand Kurt Bachman of Believer and spits in his face What do you think how he would be towards Micheal Sweet?
Or Michael Sweet and King Diamond
MrAlienautopsy Michael Sweet Glen Benton
Yeah, but Glen is an edgelord whose entire image is being anti-christian. I'd like to think King would would be respectful, since Sweet and Bachman are better guitarists, and fans might not appreciate disrespect towards other bands they like.
That cover for Carry On My Wayward Son was nice 👍
Does Earth,Wind and Fire know that Stryper covered they're song "shining star"
Very like both. Skolnick is my favorite lead guitarist.
He’s definitely in my top 5. He was and still is years ahead of all the other Thrash guitarists of his time.
Got Alex Skolnick/Chuck Billy autograph on back of their concert ticket..Overkill/Testament Ritz Theatre, Corpus Christi TX Aug.28 1987..
Stryper is proof you can praise God and still be cool
3 min in and I bet these guys were a hoot after the show!.
Older = Wiser, lol.
Good to see these guys talking like men. You can actually see the respect they have for each other, which is just awesome.
Very cool inteview
I like these interchanges, everyone is respectful about the other person in another band. Religious crap aside, Stryper was a kick ass band, I still play "Against the Law" a lot, it is a great sounding album.
10:20 - It would be interesting to hear about the re-recording of their catalog after the Universal warehouse fire.
Wow.. the amp is a Marshal MG?
Two killer players ! 👍🏻😎
production may have gotten better, but the magic of the original recordings are still the best
Michael Sweet actually comes across as a decent guy. My perspective has changed.
Wauw....i was there in Eindhoven, Dynamo open Air!!! 1987
Slayer and Stryper , Testament are my favorite bands , Alex is a killer guitarist, Michael Sweet is a killer guitar player , Both are shredders from the 80’s, It’s great seeing Stryper getting props and their musical freedom has come a long way!
Okay let's stop there sweet can not play as good as skolnick I have no idea what you're listening to
damnet, in the title sequence for alex, it only showed testament, when he was in savatage for an album and a bit as well
That is because Alex's bread and butter was TestAmenT, notice they didn't name his Jazz band either, "The Alex Skolnik Trio"
in other videos they named less famous bands, and a lot of scholnick fans know about his work with savatage
2 ‘friends’ that has not seen each other since 1987.
Jesus saves!
@Patrick Fitzsimmons
does he ?
When was the last time he saved someone ?
I'm 45 years old
Grew up listening to stryper
NEVER, IN MY ENTIRE LIFE HAVE I EVER SEEN JESUS SAVE SOMEONE
heard many people say it
found out they were all full of shit
found out that's what they prefer to believe
but, never actually seen jesus save someone
so.. when was the last time you saw him save someone
can't be that often, if ever... right ?
so..
what compells you to say "Jesus Saves"
Dakky
you know what mate...
Life and people never cease to amaze me
Just the fact that
- I can be calm
- ask a simple question
and you interpret it as ... Me being stressed, is just fucking amazing
and another thing
- patrick was the one that said "Jesus Saves"
- I mean , if said "Sharks Kill" you wouldn't question it.. right ?
you KNOW IT TO BE TRUE, because it's been seen and noted down as fact
if i said "drinking tea is calming" you also know this to be true
but if i was to say something like (lets take a snippet from the vegetarian philosophy, shall we), if i was to say "tigers are vegetarians"
and someone was to blindly accept that, they'd be stupid , right ?
this is not about being stressed, AND I'M NOT, for the record
this is about common fucking sense
it's also about, I JUST MADE A COMMENT IN REPLY TO HIS COMMENT
he said "Jesus Saves"
i replied "when was the last time you saw him save someone"
A SEEMINGLY FAIR COMMENT don't you think ?
and you then replied with
"Martin, you need to chill out" LOL
i cannot explain how stupid your comment is
it would like if you said to me "Martin, can i have the time"
and i said "woah woah, ok, dude, you need to chill the fuck down" LOL
MATE, WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT
it was a question
and i could pose the same question to you
WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME THAT ANYONE SAW JESUS SAVE ANYONE
simple question
nothing to get upset about, Just a question
so..

Hello Arlene
Arlene, Normally i would address you as a standard christian person
BUT LET ME ADDRESS YOU IN A SOMEWHAT SPECIAL WAY because i think it's warranted.
1. SO... YOU'RE A NURSE hmmm , ok
I used to be a Paramedic, a friend of mine was a Nurse in Sydney..(Emergency)
she moved to the gold coast and is still a nurse
Firstly.... thank you for what you do as most people don't appreciate it and i think more people should.
Secondly, in light of what you've seen, AND I DO UNDERSTAND
and i have seen my fair share of fatalities prior to my medical work and i was then also exposed to people and caring for them and watching them pass...... and it's sad, and after a while you try to be a little cold towards it
at one point i was doing NEPT (Patient Transportation - Aged Homes to Hospital and Back)
Arlene, i can completely understand WHY YOU PERSONALLY feel there is a god.
when people see enough shit they need to make sense of it.... God makes sense of it.
as for JESUS SAVES (just quickly), i know what it means,
i wanted to be a priest when i was younger and there was a time when i wholeheartedly believed in christ
later i wanted to help people.. hence Paramedical
these days i'm an Engineer, i still help people and always will, i just help them in a different way
QUICK STORY that you will relate to
at times i install Satellite TV , at this particular one i was installing it for a serbian man (my background is also serbian)
his son got me to do the job , and he loved his Serbian Channels, specifically one, called RTS TV
anyway.. 3 days later (i think it was) , his son calls me up and (he's in tears) and say's "Martin, my father passed away today, we found him this morning, Remote control in hand and the tv has RTS going, he died watching his favourite show and HE HAD A BIG SMILE ON HIS FACE" hehe
Now.. i did cry a little , i'll be honest, because to give that man (approx age. 90ish) happiness in his last days...
mate, that's beyond words and payment
now.. back to what i wanted to say
Fact is (sorry to say) jesus doesn't save, never has
we just prefer to believe that he did
and those people that you speak about, mate, LET'S BE CLEAR....
THEY SMILE BECAUSE OF THE KINDNESS YOU GIVE THEM BEFORE THEY PASS, OK
let there be no bullshit about it
Nurse's are fucking saints as are medic's and doctors and all medical staff.
but specifically the staff that work directly with public
we give of ourselves, BUT WHAT DO WE GIVE ?
we don't just give time, WE SACRIFICE OUR PSYCHOLOGICAL HEALTH for them.
sometimes they appreciate it, sometimes they don't
but.. you already know this , so... you get the point
point is... WE ARE THE GOOD ONE'S and if people like you and me don't go to heaven , what's the point of heaven
Now. believe what you will, that's completely up to you and i respect your decision.
but, there is a difference between how the OP stated his statement "JESUS SAVES"
and how you are saying it
i mean, i can say (as an Engineer) ELECTRICITY KILLS
and i can prove that as a fact
he can't prove the statement JESUS SAVES and therefore should not state is as fact
other inaccuracies, just for the record
we are not 2 parts
we are 3 parts
we are not BODY and SOUL
we are BODY, SOUL and SPIRIT
as per the religion we HAVE A BODY
WE ARE A SPIRIT
while on earth WE LIVE IN A BODY of flesh
WE HAVE A SOUL (or... our spirit has a soul, if you prefer)
or in another way of interpretation.. Look at the spirit as the heavenly body and look at the soul as the heavenly heart, in a sense
we are 3 parts
but regardless, I GET WHAT YOU'RE SAYING
as for being at a funeral,
i've done better, i've been there many times as a person passes (you know what i mean)
i've seen , at one stage there is something still there in the eyes
and then a minute later THAT EMPTINESS (again.. you know what i mean)
and you know .. they are gone
i have dissected the subject of religion and does god exist and does jesus exist and so on for many years
the conclusion i came to it this
THERE ARE OPINION'S
and
THERE ARE FACTS
people have opinion's for many reasons as to whether god or jesus exist and whether jesus saves THEY ARE JUST OPINIONS (Regardless of whether the statement is fact or not)
is it a fact that jesus saves.... NO IT'S NOT
but sometimes it's easier to believe that it is
and in your case... I UNDERSTAND COMPLETELY (which is why i'm not responding to you like a normal christian)
there are civilians , then there are staff who understand service and help
and then there are soldiers (that i can't claim to understand)
point being... WE GET EACH OTHER and the other readers probably won't understand completely
anyway mate
I have asked for gods forgiveness in the past
i have asked jesus to save me
NOTHING HAPPENS
and you know what i get in return
i get idiots who claim to understand and say bullshit like
"YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE"
"YOU HAVE TO HAVE AN OPEN HEART"
HEHE
you know what i feel like saying to those idiots
"Oh.. fuck off, It's not like i haven't"
and the other thing is .. you tell them you have and they dont' even listen
so mate,
- IT'S BEEN A PLEASURE TALKING TO YOU
- AGAIN, THANKS FOR WHAT YOU DO, it's appreciate , at least by some and who knows maybe one day you'll treat me :P
- but, you have your path, i have mine
- at the end of the day , it comes down to faith
- also one day we will be judged
i can approach god with a clear heart because i know i'm a good person, as are you
now, mate, if i go to hell for that, then I'VE DONE MY BEST AND I CAN'T DO ANY BETTER
and if i still go to hell. WELL. what can i do ? NOTHING
people like us should not go to hell
so.. that's that
but now you understand my point
and you understand why i replied to the OP in the way that i did
some people are just idiots
like people who choose to attack the people that are helping them
and we have religious idiots on the world as well
but you are not an idiot, You're a different breed
and i understand why you hold the view that you hold
TAKE CARE MATE
I WISH YOU WELL IN LIFE
don't work too hard
Amen Jesus Saves!!
Alex is such great guy I met him when Testament was touring with Amon Amarth such nice guy was willing to have a chat obviously I didnt keep him talking for to long
Michael Sweet talks about his hits and fame, Alex wishes he was in a better band.
Notice sweety boy isn't playing guitar with Alex? Gee I wonder why
munsterr777 Well I wouldn't bring my guitar either if I was him lol.
Rebecca Herbert Just don't tell that to not quite Eddy van halen here, it might break his heart
Eh... sorry ''Edward'' but Alex Snolnick is a celebrated virtuoso with a long career not only in Metal but also in Jazz, his band Testament is considered as one of the pioneers of Thrash-Metal,they're still releasing quality records and killing it live even after 30 years.Michael Sweet and Stryper were just a mediocre Hair band that capitalised on the whole ''we're Christians''-thing as a gimmick,in order to sell.
WTF? You have that backwards don't you? Testament= far better band. Stryper= pioneered religious posing!
3 worse things about stryper. They looked like bitches! (Is cross dressing a sin?) They looked more bangable than the girls at my high school back then! Did I mention they wore make-up and lipstick?
Alguien sabe sí hay video con subtítulos?
6:04 you right Mr Michael I always think the same
CLASSIC
Wow Michael sweet u look good and well I love y'alls band music I still listen to y'all I love y'all minstery and words of god I'm glad y'all don't allow alcohol or smoken or drugs y'all are clean band y'alls l
Songs kept me going w god and blessed u Michael
I saw TestamenT with Anthrax and Metal Church in the 80s in LA
Where is the part 2?
Michael Sweet is an amazing riff maker and has an incredible sensibility for melody over those rocking riffs. Strypers music isnt for the novice musicians out there. Heady heady stuff.
As a guitarist, I loved both bands and guitarists...I always thought Alex was a cool dude.
LOVE DDY!!! Love Stryper
seen both bands live, can´t compare them
MS is a great singer and guitar player, damn those high notes are set to immortality, they should start a hard rock band project
2 great bands
alex always smacking the handshakes hard. it's really funny that he always does the shake that way.
