I have over 10 friends from UG; none of them have ever told me about Jinja, Fort Portal and the many many lakes, lodges and mountains. Uganda, I'm coming.

Hadiya, try the jack fruit please, jack fruit is good and you got to test it and allow your smell sense to accept the jack fruit, also admire your friend as she eats the jack fruit. One time, I was not liking Avocado and when I was in Jinja, my wife persuaded me to test the Avocado fruit and I did ate for the first time and the first bite almost made me puked but now I am eating avocado better that my wife. please Liv Kenya, I enjoys your trips especially this one, you showed me good places that I walked many years ago. Especially Jinja town and Kampala. I love your odyssey to the western Uganda. Port Portal and the craters there. The boiled egg with natural hot water.

One thing: The driver should learn to drive in the left lane. The right is for overtaking. Unnecessary driving on the right is subject to fines.

To answer your question why Wardens speak Swahili...Swahili is a language of the uniformed/military pple in Uganda.... its the language of the army and Police and Wardens....in Uganda Swahili is considered a "Barracks Language" Ugandans who grew up in Barracks can speak Swahili....and boom its the reason why Uganda over the years distanced themselves from Swahili....it reminded them of the military junta of one Idi Amin since the army and police spoke Swahili

The fish in Uganda is expensive because invasive species have destroyed the natural ecosystem. These now dominant species get exported to Europe and Russia, inflating the local prices.
