Catching Diamond Wels reminds me of how Lake Trout used to be when the game launched. It was so easy and fun to catch them. Get ready for the spawns to get nerfed. The discord crew like to complain when things are easy and fun to make it miserable for everyone.

@@sniper321fire if it helps, I used Pellets on a 1/0 bottom fishing. Really what matters is being in the spot when the fish decides to spawn (RNG) and having whatever bait is listed for it.
@kmb957 I have tried liver and leeches for cats only nothing and pellets only get carp
@@sniper321fire check the handbook. Wels goes after more than liver, minnows, and leeches.
I had that on the line for two hours straight with only a 40 pound line and I lost it

How often do you switch lobbies if you go too long without any wels catfish?
I start around 12-14:00, and fish until the chumming does not work anymore, or it gets to 6:00 am
Keep fishing. When the Wels goes away, the Carp will play.

It is in Aguas Claras' Souvenir Shop
Its in the Souvenir Shop on the Spain map! I think you need 500 rep, 1 Legendary token 5 Diamond tokens and 30 Gold Tokens. I Could be wrong.

Graduation feeder rod, with either Pure champion Reel or the Rushy reel with 40+ pound line.
Caught mine on 38lb line.

Can you catch Wels jigging?
Yes you can! However they will bite bottom bait more than the jig. But you can still catch them

I think mine was bugged cause I fought it for an hour with 44lb braid and it snapped it
Sadly I think that was a dime. They fight like HELL on 44lb. Hopefully you can get another one!

How do i get reputation
Missions on each map give rep. There is both Silver and Gold fish missions along with gear challenges. Do both at once to get as much rep in the fastest time!
How do you flip cast a longer range mine usually only goes 10-17 feet
You can do what I call "tap casting". Its where you tap the cast button to cast a bit farther than a normal flip cast.

Its the lvl 90 reel. If you dont have it, I say use the Pure Champion or Rushy Reels

@metalmancotw not saying there are any flaws... just helps as a content creator when there are no pauses and the narrative is fluid. Overall good advice is given but some will move on to the next video simply because the creator doesn't seem confident with the information they are giving.
