Nice!!
This is your comfort food game.
This is my comfort food watch as I assemble 40K models.
Keep'em coming... and more Battlesector! You haven't addressed the Orks or Guard DLC yet.
Really enjoying how this game is turning out.
"Scrap heaps on wheels" pretty much describes any Ork vehicle, not just the Battlewagons.
Nah, some are scrap 'eaps on traks, and some are scrap 'eaps strapped to rokkits.
@@raphaelsutton962 True dat.
Depending on the direction of which way the AI decided to expand will dictate if you get early aggression or not. The AI in this game tends to focus it's efforts in one direction; literally map wise. So it's probably clearing world mobs and expanding (Especially if they went towards the center as that's the most dense with world mobs). Which is nice because, as soon as they finish due to shared vision the tidal wave will arrive. I've played situations like this with friends and usually the first two AI's are left hanging and then the waves start slamming.
In my experience it really makes team games better to turn neutrals all the way down. If it's a free for all, neutrals provide interesting tension, because you've got choices. You can get space for cities by expanding into the middle but you'll have to deal with a lot of neutrals, or you can push along the border where there's less neutrals, but as you're clearing space for yourself you're also clearing the way for your neighbours to attack you. But in team games, the neutrals mostly just distract some unlucky AIs from doing anything useful because the AI is pretty good on a tactical level, but can't read a map to save it's life. And that means the team balance is randomly unpredictable because you never know how many AIs of either team will waste their time with the wildlife instead of helping their allies.
Thumbs up.
You should try and cut off any choke points with the forts and then clean up with your actual units for any POIs instead of using the forts as a Lock on POIs since the upkeep gets out of hand if you do that, not to say you shouldn’t do it’ll just help a lot later on.
The city bonuses are much too valuable to waste forts on choke points.
@@ehyuhnwehghstehn8262 dropping forts on poi is how space marines grow the economy in gladius. So this is completely opposite to how you should use them. Each fort gives you a 10-20% boost in resource production globally for that resource type the fort is guarding.
@ i know, i just dont use the forts for POI early on and instead use them as road blocks for anyone to move across the captured territories i have 🤷🏻♂️
If you can find outposts that are also going to help defend an area by dropping a fortress on them then great, but deploying them in open space is a wild choice. I won’t be doing that.
@ thats respectable, just offered some feedback on fortresd use 😁🤙🏻
