I was wondering where you had gone, Don. But the wait was worth it! (Love the scorched banners!) Though not big enough to showcase a vehicle, this piece would be great for displaying figures. For that matter, adding a road section for vehicles wouldn't be all that difficult. What would really be cool is a line of building fronts as long as a display shelf, with the shelf covered in roadway to display a line of vehicles on.

do you cut after placing the cardboard drawn on top of the styrofoam?

Yes, l place the cardboard onto the polystyrene and cut
