Puzzle is all about finding the links, finding the pieces which fit together, that is how we see it intuitively, and you taught us how to do that, thanks a lot sir ji. And putting the statements on the screen while solving the question really helped. I was able to solve the question the same way as you did it

I forgot to keep in mind south while assigning Left-Right(Sarez----Kaka). and got the first row inverted and rest everything same. Strange that it doesn't change the answers if I do it with same orientation. ie Left right irrespective of North South.
It won't change the answers in some cases, you are right. But just be careful, avoid doing this :)

Sir, In this question they didnt mention anywhere like north facing people are sitting in the same side and south facing people are sitting the same side. then how can we conclude 1-6 is south and 7-12 is north? please clarify this sir.. Thanks in Advance.
It's implied there! Otherwise you cannot even think that you can solve it. Not everything is mentioned explicitly in the puzzles...

Sir in this question its not given that the top row faces south and bottom row faces north. Nor it's given that the rows face each other. So how can we be sure to take the seating set up as we have taken i.e. top faces south and bottom faces north?
You are right. Whenever it is not mentioned, you should take the most obvious set-up always...

In question there is no mention that in row1 south facing players are sitting and in row2 north facing players are sitting or vice versa no hints are given like this. then how the first step of the solution at 2:40 we can assume like this.
Priyanshu, It depends on the data. They don't write it at times. So if nothing is given, you may assume they are facing each other (the way people are expected to sit).

the concept helped me a lot for logical reasoning,but I request you to kindly provide more examples on floor araangement,north-south problems, especially related for bank po as soon as possible,IPPB xams are near,and the competition has become more tough,to master the concept we would require some more examples

Sir will such techniques work while writing CAT as we wont have such tools to rotate the fig. as you have easily done CAN WE DEVELOP SUCH MINDSET TO OVERLAP THE DATA SO ACCURATELY ?
Yes, that's just shown to help you understand, to visualize. You don't need any such tool in the exam. That will be cumbersome in fact. Practise it; you would start doing it fast.

Nikhil, Please watch my puzzles sessions in the SBI PO playlist. You need to start writing data in "short codes" for yourself in many problems. I have explained how to do that there...

Hi Rohit, The fact that you are asking this says a lot. It's a tricky one.
Ideally speaking, it shouldn't appear in the exam. It make no sense. But if it does, and you are stuck with such a choice, we would say it follows. Since there's been a lot of debate on the topic, we would say don't go by what we say, think yourself. Does restating something make it false? We think, no, it doesn't :)
Understand it like this..
I am saying that I am right.
Now I am asking "Am I right?
It means I am doubtful so I am asking.
So my teacher told it doesn't follow.
But still it's a big doubt because many says restatement follows.
& you are saying also.
So I can trust you.

It's flawed. Had your teacher's logic been sound, you wouldn't have felt the need to ask anyone else. You couldn't convince yourself with that logic. Well, at least we couldn't...
