You expect the stage between Lindsey and Stevie to just burst into flames at any second.
I watched this again the other night and it is a crazy energy between them. Just amazing to watch
The venom between Stevie and Lindsay makes this performance.
Hell, it makes Rumours one of the greatest albums of all time, both by record sales and pure quality.
It is an amazing performance on top of an incredible song
New to the channel, you guys are great! Lindsay Buckingham is a seriously underrated guitarist. And he wails away on the guitar without a pick.
He was wringing her neck, metaphorically, with that guitar as much as she was smashing his brains out with that tambourine lol
The lucky audience got an unpredicted extra treat.
This is the only album of this FMac line up that I own, incredible LP
I thought she was going to yeet that tambourine whilst he was spitting out "You don't love me, you don't love m..OUCH"
No bullshit he was stinging her with every note sang or strummed
What a performance. It's rare to see something like that. It was all out there on stage for all to see. Stevie and Lindsey looked like they were about to come to blows.

It took me a while to see this. But it's a very angry, but PLEADING song. Like,
"Chain, keep us together?!"
All this horseshit going down around us. We're at each others' throats. Chain, (PLEASE) keep us together. The chain being a promise,made by all, that FM was greater than the sum of thier parts. (Hope I used that phrase correctly, but I'm sure you get wgat I'm saying. CHECK OUT "Sisters of the Moon", from that same concert Mirage tour in 1982. Stevie definitely excused herself to powder her nose, on THAT one. I believe, literally (leaving the stage, doing a rail, and coming back after the solo. She was late getting back. In the lyrics of sisters of the moon, where it goes, "Some call her sister of the moon. Some say illusions are her game. They like to wrap her in velvet. But, does anyone know her name?" Was Stevie's line (no pun intended) had to be delivered by Lindsay, because she was still backstage... And when she comes back out she starts this tribal "speaking in tongues" thing, and just about falls over, Lindsay leaning over her,while she's shaking her head back and forth. Check it out.

Ok, George here, just watched that and my god! That is amazing and crazy and god knows what! Mick Fleetwoods eyes are the definition of two piss holes in the snow. That whole show must have been some form of crazy. Sending a link to Alex now!
